Some of the vendors participating in this market are really great. Some, however, sell food that is not local, but from California, or even outside of the country! Bananas in NY?? I bought a container of nectarines from one farm that claimed to be organic and located in New York, but the nectarines still had the "California" stickers on them that I guess the "farmer" forgot to take off when she tried to pass them off as her own!
Sadly, you are probably just as likely to find truly local produce, especially if you are looking for organic, at the Whole Foods down the street. If you don't really care what you are actually buying, this is one of the larger farmers markets in the area.

Fresh produce with other odd items from other vendors: beats the big bad store down the street. Other co-workers likely to be there also.

Some of the vendors travel quite a distance and I appreciate getting the freshest fruits and veggies at the reasonable prices that they charge. I really look forward to my weekly visits.

Vendors sell everything from fresh baked goods to locally grown produce at this canopied European style market.
