Killarney Farm offers the healthiest and most vibrant organic produce around. We have driven over to the Kootenai Farmer's Market from Spokane once or twice a year since 2004 to supplement what we don't grow at the community garden where we volunteer as managers. A single head of Killarney Farm cauliflower is a creature of perfection, alone offering 4-6 meals. Roasted cauliflower is a favorite! Spoil yourself, buy one, and the insipid commercial heads (even if organic) will just pale in comparison to a cauliflower from Killarney Farms. Killarney Farm cabbages are dense, juicy, and huge - perfect for adding to our own to make a big batch of home made sauerkraut. We also make naturally fermented Polish pickles from their wonderful pickling cucumbers. Onions, cranberries, summer squash, basil, lettuce, and more - Paul Smith and Ellen Scriven are always friendly and always have the best organic produce selection in our region!

I agree with Kim. Killarney Farm is a bit hit at the Kootenai County Farmers' Markets.

Their stand is always bustling with activity and is filled to the brim with the best looking and tasting fresh organic produce.

Oh, and don't forget they will recycle bags and garden containers at the market on Saturdays in Hayden.

I always go directly to Killarney Farm's stand at the Kootenai County & Downtown Coeur d'Alene Farmers Markets. Great variety, fresh produce, nice plant starts in spring. Friendly and knowledgable folks too.
