I have been buying the milk from them for 3 years and have been very pleased with it. The milk tastes very good and I don't have the problem with lactose intolerance as I do with homogenized milk. I love the cream at the top of the milk, and make butter with it also. The Eldrachers' are a nice and friendly family that adds to the share membership and are very accommodating when picking up milk.

You will have a tough time finding any milk better in this area. Nothing compares to the health benefits of fresh, raw, and grass fed milk. When you cannot keep a cow on your own property, leasing a cow through cow shares is a great option. Since milk is something my family drinks so much of, I felt it very important for the milk to be extremely high quality. I have been a customer of the Eldracher's for 4 1/2 years. I do not plan to switch back to "factory milk" any time soon.

My husband and I have been share-holders in the Eldracher's milk co-op for approximately 5 years and we love the benefits from drinking raw unpasteurized milk! Contrary to urban myth you do not get sick from unpastuerized milk but rather all the good nutrients and probiotics that are killed off in the pasteurization process are retained for your benefit. I trust the Eldrachers in their treatment and care of the animals as well as ethical implementation of their business model. They and the raw milk come highly recommended!

I have leased from them for over a year and have enjoyed every bit of it. They are great to work with and the milk is awesome! I love driving up and seeing the beautiful jerseys in the fields and knowing right where the milk is coming from and what environment they are thriving in. I've gotten on average a lb of butter each week from my share and homemade sour cream is good too. I used to buy organic garlic at the store and that doesn't compare to the Eldrachers and I love not having to worry about chemicals and I know right were it was grown. Enjoy!
