What a gem! We purchase 5 yards of compost from them. They were quick to contact me, and delivered the next day. It is the best compost I?ve seen. And very competitively priced. Beautifully screened, so no rocks or sticks, and super rich. I highly recommend !

They have wide variety of Root vegtables, Very HIGH Quality!!!
I shop weekly for organic vegtables for sunday dinners I must say I was very impressed with carrots and all vegtables I purchased. I am in the game of canning and freezing in bulk
from them due to I just cant find same organic quality in my area.
thanks again

If you are interested in trying a CSA I highly recommend Free Bird Farm. From June to October, receiving a weekly share of their harvest was such a wonderful experience. I specifically enjoyed having access to produce from a local farmer who is farming sustainably with additional access to their grass fed beef, whole chickens and eggs. We have a family of 4 and one share was perfect for us. We had more than enough vegetables each week and were able to even freeze some of our weekly share for later use. In addition, a great bonus with Free Bird Farm is their blog. Each week, along with the amazing veggies, we also received weekly recipes including ingredients from that weeks' share! I loved it!!!!!!!!

We joined last year, and can't say enough good things about our entire experience. We belonged to a truly wonderful CSA program downstate before moving to the Cooperstown area, and were skeptical in our thinking we'd find someone to match it up in this neck of the woods. But, we were DELIGHTED with Free Bird Farm - who not only matched our previous CSA experience, but surpassed it as well. We are a family of four, and were thrilled with the generous amount of clean, wonderful veggies every week. Not knowing exactly what to do with everything in my share - the cooking tips that come with this CSA are invaluable to me. We also signed up for the eggs, of which I have never had better (no joke). We will be signing up again this year, and are already looking forward to each week's bountiful, delicious and healthy share. Oh! They are very organized, and dependable on top of it all - every cent worth it.

We participated in last year's CSA through Free Bird Farm. It was our first experience with a CSA program. We were very satisfied! We split our share with a single friend and still had more than enough for our family of five. I appreciated their professionalism and valued thier friendly approach to everything. If you desire healthful eating, if you don't mind a small amount of work in preparing vegetables for storage, if you have a heart for community and see the importance of family farms and responsible, eco-friendly farming, this is the way to go. If you do sign up, make sure you try the eggs! Fantastic!
