As a board member of DSI, a resident in Southport, and part of a family owned small business here in Southport (Lantana's!!), I support our downtown and LOCAL produce, commerce, development! A waterfront farmer's market is great! I strongly support buying local produce and local art!

So that the local economy will continue to be supported and flourish. I prefer to use local business as much as I can.

Buying locally grown produce is better for the environment, has less preservatives and keeps money in our local area.

The fresh products, live music, great bake goods, crafts, plants, wonderful Southern hospitality all this overlooking the Cape Fear River
