Midland Downtown Farmers' Market is a place to find the home grown - home made - no chemicals added things that my Grandmother believed in using. It is a place to meet new people, rejoin old friends and relish in the fresh air that is free to us right now. You can listen to live music by people who are new and find art by local artisans. Midland Downtown Farmers' Market is a GREAT PLACE to shop.

Matt is a wonderful, inspired and open minded young man. He has developed a great place for the community to gather. Buying and selling are only some of the activities as he has local musicians, informative talks and everyone is inclined to stay and visit and meet people. This is the perfect time for something like this...that gets like minded, forward thinking peeps together. Heather and Crystal

It's just the coolest place to be on a Saturday morning. Liz's coffee is what got me started going there and going back every week (Liz does'nt sell coffee any,ore though). It's growing and getting BETTER all the time, thanks to all the wonderful folks (Both sellers and customers). I love it, keep up the great work folks. GOD BLESS!

We enjoy buying bread from miss bunny, dog treats from susie, honey from dave and marta, relish from audrey, the african beads from janice and mary, veggies from matt. we sell there but we shop there also and it has been a great experience for us and for our kids. We always look forword to head to midland every saturday morning to set up and see everyone and see who is new.

Local produce is the best. I happen to have a small garden in my backyard however, one day I will be moving to the country, plan on a huge garden and hope to sell my homegrowns at your Farmers Market. Fresh is the Best and so good for us.

Fresh produce will improve the general health of the community. Too many chemicals are being used in commercial production. A Downtown Market will encourage more participation in local production of fresh produce.

I was raised on fresh home grown veggies as a child and we had to work our fairly large garden. Snapping peas and shucking corn is a favorite childhood memory. It also contributed to my good health today at the age of 50. We all should eat fresh and locally grown foods.

We started supporting this market when it was just bigger than Matt Hanson's Idea, two and three tables sometime, The new location and all the vendors whom ply there wares make the market not just a shopping experiance but a friendly locale event we feel we've missed out on, The rare occasions we can't make it. We have become friends with the vendors and other customers alike. This makes Saturday mornings a fun event to look foward too! Thanks to Matt's Idea and his effort to bring it to Life.

It is a very good local market, and Matt invests a lot of time and work into keeping this going. I believe we should support our local people and do business at home. The vendors are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of their products. There is a large variety of items to choose from, and besides, it's a lot of fun to go out and participate. We look forward to going on Saturdays to see what everyone has to offer. Thanks to Matt Hanson and all the vendors for bringing this to our community.

What's not to like? Matt Hanson has done a great job pulling together businesses and groups that would not have another outlet in Midland to how their wares. The setting is social and laid back, the items for sale are timely and affordable. It is a wonderful addition to downtown and we are lucky to have it.

The Midland Downtown Farmer's Market was started last year by a small group that wanted to make a difference in our community by bringing people together to enjoy local goods and meet their neighbors. As the market has grown, it has become an example of the diversity and creativity of the people of West Texas.
