This is a craft fair, not a farmers' market. We only saw three farms there. Two farm had organic vegetables and the other had raw milk and eggs. There were also a few vendors reselling produce. The rest of the market was filled with crafts and prepared foods.

Our market is located in our beautiful Downtown waterfront area and has a wonderfully diverse group of vendors including live music. They also work very hard to support local growers and farmers as well as small business and crafts people. It's a fabulous fun place to spend a Saturday morning eating, shopping, chatting up friends, neighbors and vendors and being entertained...and I can walk or ride my bike there!

I love the Saturday Morning Market because my favorite baker, The Bread Artisan, is there. Also, locally grown fruit and veggies are there in abundance. I buy my breakfast at one of the many vendors featuring homemade goodies and sit and enjoy watching the crowd and listening to the music.

It is more important now during these trying times to support your local market. Your neighbors are right there selling their goods and services. What a better way to show them your support. Everyone should bypass the grocery store and go out there see your neignbors and friends and buy from them. I just love our market.

Where else in the US can you find a market that has different food vendors selling knishes, cajun food, BBQ, soul food, thai food, belgian waffles, cuban food, gelato, fish tacos, caribbean food, empanadas, gourmet soups, brick oven pizza, omelets, arepas (motsapies), turkey legs, french crepes, organic smoothies, vegie burgers and more. Thats just a small sample of what you can fill your stomach with right away. There's lots more vendors selling great food to take home (e.g. gourmet pasta, spices, olive salad, pastries, salsa, bread, jams, hot sauce, gourmet vinegar/oils, hummus and more). Its the best!

When you say farm fresh dairy, do you mean raw, organic dairy and heavy cream that has NOT been ultra-pasteurized? Is everything else organic and grass fed at this market too?
