The day my family moved up the mountain from our Family farm in Danville we pulled up to Sweet Providence to check out our closest local vendors. The owner was stocking and greeting, the young family engaged me with "plume and (yummy) plout" talk. Thank You, you are really amusing, informative, and a pleasure to help support. Your new neighbors.

Sweet Providence Farm Market is a local treasure, located conveniently on US 221 N of the town of Floyd, VA. They offer an excellent variety of locally grown produce, meats, and homemade desserts, with a 'just right' sprinkling of unusual down-home crafts. Seasonal specialties such as their spring greenhouse plants and wood-fired heaters in the fall are a welcome addition.

The owners are a real asset to our community (we live 3 miles from them) with an attractive presentation of their products, and active farm fields that change with the seasons. We enjoy their truly farm-fresh produce often, and our out-of-area guest are always impressed with a visit to Sweet Providence. It is a genuinely unique experience.
