Laura Tangerini is absolutely awesome. Laura had invited her CSA members to learn a little more about the farm. Well I was digging, planting, watering, weeding, trimming & harvesting at Tangerini's Spring Street Farm. Wish I had introduced my children to where food comes from and how long it takes to grow & what's involved in getting good results that eventually lead to the food on their plates. Admired the families that had their children with them - I feel they will have a better appreciation then those that only stroll to the local food market for meals. So tasted beets -1st time, got a farmers tan, learned chickens don't need a rooster to lay eggs,Tangerini's don't grow tangerines, had meaningful conversations while working (as there was no place for cell phones), & as the soil enriched the seeds to grow, so the experience also enriched my soul.

Sincere thanks to the Tangerini's Spring Street Farm & Friends that feel like family & CSA peeps

A little gem in Millis....beautiful peace of land with a very quaint farmstand. U-pick blueberries were plentiful although the raspberries were in short supply. Lots of folks were picking cutting flowers as well. My kids had never seen garlic on it stalk before ...there eyes lit right up when they figured out what it was. Corn is super sweet right now and they also had lots of plants from their nursery. Met Mrs. Tangerini who gave us a few suggestions for grilling their vegetables. Ice cream was a great way to end our visit.
