I love the Logan Square Farmer's Market! It offers fresh, seasonal produce, meat, poultry, mushrooms, and more, and everyone who works there is friendly and knowledgeable. It's my favorite way to spend a Sunday morning.

I love the atmosphere and the the live performances. The Logan Square Farmer's Market feels different from other markets, and they have great vendors!

They have a great selection of organic produce, bakery goods, and flowers. I think the farmer's market in Logan Square really benefits the neighborhood and brings together the community.

It's local, the food is great and I get to mingle with my neighbors. My 3 year old son always looks forward to Sundays at the market.

I love the well-chosen vendors, the "neighborhoodness" of its setting, and the "picnic" area on the boulevard. Chicago's best!

Logan Square Farmer's Market is the perfect example of a neighborhood market, bringing local organic produce, meat, eggs, and other products into a diverse city neighborhood. With live music, prepared foods, picnicking in the boulevard, and an informational booth, it has truly become a hub of community activity. When people ask me why I love Logan Square so much, the farmer's market is always at the top of the list.

Because it is such a nice community - complete with nice people, good food, and music.

Because out of the many farmers markets I've been to in the city and suburbs this one makes you feel like you want to linger. Our community doesn't just come here to buy food, instead, we talk to our farmers, we eat with them, we lay down blankets with our children and play and relax and enjoy this beautiful old neighborhood.

Great prepared and fresh foods, great farmers and great atmosphere. We purchase our lunch and picnic there most Sundays.

The LS Market is a weekend walking destination for our family. Chat with the farmers, lounge on the grass, have a bite to eat, and catch up with neighbors. High quality all the way around!!!

Great crepe vendor, beautiful flowers, close to my favorite Sunday breakfast place, super nice people representing local/neighborhood issues/concerns and most importantly, I can walk there.

The Loan Square Farmers Market has been a shinning gem to our community. We welcome the fresh fruits, vegetables, and handmade/handgrown merchandise. Logan Square has all I want in a farmers market - great produce, food, and goods plus a showing of local co-ops and great music every week! Neighbors bring out their goods to share on the square as well, so it's like a weekly flea market also!

The variety is incredible from the peeps to the food - many types of veggies, cheese from everywhere, organic meat and eggs, locally grown fresh and preserved mushrooms, berries (yummy), local entertainment, bread to die for, honey for my honey, sweet soaps, flowers that grow ever so big and a view of Logan Boulevard that is worth the visit.

The Logan Square Farmers Market is a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. It has a great selection of products, and the merchants couldn't be nicer. Its location makes it easy to get to by public transportation and it is a great contribution to our community,

It brings the community together. It's a place to grab breakfast or lunch. Take your shoes off sit in the grass with old friends and new to soak up the season. Then purchase something special and enjoy the rest of the Sunday.

I walk there nearly every Sunday and enjoy smiling at all the other people from the neighborhood. It's a great way to spend a Sunday morning, and as a bonus - I get to pet a lot of friendly dogs!

The Logan Square Farmers' Market is a luscious community riot of friends chatting with each other, babies staring or sleeping, dogs nuzzling, farmers and urban dwellers laughing over stories, smelling the fresh food, and going home with your bag full of fresh produce and meats. It's one of those regular events that feeds us well, brings us out, and makes us happy to live in Logan Square.

It has grown into an amazing community building event. We always bump into a few people we know and have conversations about the neighborhood. Truly wonderful. Also the venders alwasy have a kind word and are sweet to my small children.

The Logan Square Farmer's Market has become a community affair. A great mixture of sustainable products, prepared foods and entertainment! There is a festive and happy feeling as people walk through and greet each other. Thanks for doing this!

It is one of the most varied and primarily organic market in the city, and the farmers are so personable and friendly. There is a wonderful energy there.

I am from France and when I arrived in Chicago, I missed a lot of things, included the market ! I live now in logan square and this market is fa-bu-lous ! You can find almost everything in a small space: all kind of meats, cheeses, baked goods, vegetables, fruits, flowers and plants, herbs, eggs, prepared foods and handmade beauty products. The merchants are warm and friendly too and it is a nice way to meet neighbors !

It is a great chance to meet people from the neighborhood and have some good food.

The Logan Square farmer's market has a great community feel with the chamber, Dill Pickle, music, and people hanging out on the BLVD. There's also tasty local restaurants who serve food! Overall it has more vendors then some of the other farmer's market's in the NW side of the city.

I love this market. It is only a few blocks from my house (but I'd still go if it was a few miles from my house). I buy all the fruits and veggies I need for the week, along with eggs and some cheese. Everyone is so nice and friendly. It reminds me of the market that I grew up with in my small hometown.

Not only is it a nice little market with a great blend of products, but it's one of the few signs of new life in this economically struggling neighborhood. Most of all it's added an important benefit in that you can go there and run into neighbors and talk about community issues.

I try to shop local as much as possible, so I can't wait for Sunday when I can hit the market for fresh flowers, out of this world honey, a great variety of produce and whatever other goodies I can find. I love it and only wished we had the resources for a year-round market.

It is great addition to a neighborhood that has little resource for locally grown an or organic food. The market is great vehicle for community building in a neighborhood that also has been trying hard to build on that. The newsletter the market sends every month really keeps up interest and I can plan ahead of time for what I can get that week at this market.

The Logan Square Chamber of Commerce is probably the best organization in this city, if not the state. The chamber puts together the Farmer's Market and is clear about the objectives and strictly adheres to them. The operation is seamless and professional under ALL circumstances. Furthermore, the Market itself, is phenomenal by any standard. The vendors not only showcase good, produce and prepared goods, they are helpful and respectful to other vendors and customers alike. As a small business owner, I appreciate the Chamber and the Farmer's Market as a perfect vehicle to intertwine the small businesses with the community.

I love our my neighborhood farmer's market. It's grown from a measly 4 stand operation to a nicely sized market with lots of local produce, eggs, baked goods, honey and other offerings that draws the entire neighborhood to one spot every Sunday. There's now even live music and other entertainment as well as lots of yummy prepared food.

As a farmer with fresh fruit, flowers, and a few vegetables that participates in the Logan Square Market I feel that it is the loyal customers and the market management that are making the Logan Square Market a great place to be on Sunday morning. It is our responsibility to bring the best that we have from the farm so that the customer's continue to support the market by purchasing and preparing the fresh healhty food for their families.

Enthusiastic vendors, good selection without a ton of redundancy. Lines and crowds aren't out of control.

Great market in a community that really needed one! The market could always stand to expand and I hope it has a chance to do that in the future. It's a great, small market with great vendors that know the customers and know what we like.

I've been coming here almost since its inception and it's grown to be a real draw. I can do nearly all my weekly summer shopping here. The Chicago Tribune rated it last year as the coolest city farmers market.

Produce is fresher and lasts longer than the supermarket, and since we don't have a supermarket in our neighborhood anyway, all the more reason to shop locally.

Such a great mix of produce, flowers, local food stuffs available, along with music and family activities.

It's manageable, yet sells nearly everything you need for the week. Added bonuses are the musicians playing the accordion, guitars and other instruments, the tree lined boulevard, and the newly opened New Wave Cafe along the sidewalk.

We checked it out because it's close, but kept going because of the great produce and some nice prepared foods. The multiple CSA options here are great as well.

I live, work (at both a store and the Logan Square Farmer's Market) and play in this neighborhood and I love it! It's so great to see people at the market each week talking to their food producers & providers. There is a growing interest and excitement over knowing where one's food comes from, and having a personal relationship with the farmers are key.

The whole neighborhood is involved in this market by bringing the community closer together by supporting environmental issues.

I've lived in Logan Square for the past five years. I've watched this Farmers Market come into being over those years and I wholeheartedly support them. We try to go every weekend to make sure that the vendors are supported and the Chamber too. Kudos to everyone who has made this unique market -one where you can shop, eat, listen to music, hang out with friends- one of the best markets in the City. It helps to make our community what it is... a fabulous neighborhood!

Logan Square market is a neighborhood run market, not in league with the City of Chicago markets. This being said, it has gone through major hoops to bring awesome food to this very diverse community on the northwest side of Chicago. It's awesome to see your neighbors or the local business owners and talk - it's like a small town within a big town, and you really see it at the Logan Square market.

It is always changing yet always dependable in bring fresh and or local produce, foods and items to our little neighborhood. It has also been instrumental in revitalizing our own small downtown at the Illinois Centennial Monument. The Paseo Prairie Garden planted by volunteers and sponsors by our El station, the seating built on the site for relaxing and featuring live music, and the bicycle gatherings at the Monument, spontaneous or not ... just a few.

We watched it grow from an idea to a thriving community meet-up. We participate in a CSA that delivers high quality organic produce and eggs each week, the music is great and my 3-year-old can't wait to return each Sunday!

The have a great variety! They have LOTS of organic. They have helpful people! The food is displayed in a terrific way. There are changes every week and new people coming and going.

The Logan Square Farmers' Market is small, intimate, and personable. Yummy baked goods, lovely local-grown produce, homespun yarn from the sheepgrower lady, and little food stands from area restaurants like La Fonda del Mar. Mostly I love this market because I see my neighborhood of 33 years in microcosm: kids, dogs, new people, old people ... all smiling and friendly.

Here's a painting Julie Sulzen, a Logan Square resident and artist, made of the cut flower stand at the Market, run by DNK Family Farms, from St. Anne's Illinois. People come, they look, they eat, they buy, they paint...they love it. It's the best neighborhood market in Chicago.

Eating locally and supporting small business is important to me! And knowing that my veggies are seasonal, organic, and better for the environment, too, makes all the difference. Plus the square is transformed into such a happy place on Sunday mornings!

IT's small enough to get to know everyone, it has everything you need and it opens at 10 am instead of the obscene 7 am that most markets use.

Excellent variety of vegetables, herbs, fruits, meats, eggs, cheeses, flowers, as well as wonderful prepared foods by local restaurants. Great music & performances, a wonderful community of friendly people, and the opportunity to support my neighborhood and buy local. Love it!

For a new market, they are doing a great job of getting "excitement" into the market. The parkway is filled with kids and dogs and people sitting on the ground eating the things they bought - it's very much a "Community" which I love.
