The Independence Park Farmers Market has a great selection of vendors and services. Plus, it's a great way to connect with neighbors in these busy times. I always run into people I know while I'm there. We now make it a Sunday morning routine. I only wish it was every week.

I find lots of goods such as vegetables, bread, coffee and other things that i need, specially those home-made dog treats hard to find in other places. I like it the most because there are many friendly people who lives in my area. Nice to know they are in the same page.

The freindly and communal atmosphere, combined with great vendors and products make for a pleasant experience. String band jam session! Dogs allowed! Doesn't get much better.

It is close by, and a small Market (which you rarely find in a big city.) We love the fresh produce, the variety of products (the waffles! the tamales!) and services (knife sharpening.) My 3 boys enjoy preparing the food that they picked out at the Independence Park Farmer's Market.

It's close to us and is GREAT. Nice variety of sellers in a beautiful park setting (not a parking lot)!

I love to support local farming and to shop locally. It is a beautiful park and community to live in and it is a wonderful Sunday summer activity to participate in with the whole family and all of our neighbors.

The Independence Park farmers market is, appropriately, an independent market. It gets great support from the community and the vendors love it for being very user friendly for them. We need as much support as we can get for this wonderful market.

This small market contains everything you need to prepare a very nice gourmet meal. All the food is organic and the selection is fantastic. Independence Park has created a very nice venue for shopping and meeting up with friends. Once you go there, you won't want to leave.

I'm the manager of this market and it's been a tremendous amount of fun organizing it. This year is our best ever with 20 vendors selling everything from organic fruits and vegetables, gourmet coffee, waffles made on site with seasonal fruit and topped with whipped cream, a knife sharpener (a real coup), cut flowers, tamales, locally produced plants and seeds from the neighborhood, candles, organic meats, eggs, and flours, French baguettes, chocolate croissants, and fruit tarts, Polish baked goods (the muffins are beyond delicious), organic, sustainable glazed donuts, jams, jellies, and other condiments, tomato-based products, including pasta sauces and Bloody Mary mix, fancy cookies and handmade soap and lip balms. Blue grass musicians come and jam and invite everyone to join in. This coming Sunday, June 28, belly dancers from a local dance studio will be performing, plus a dog training demonstration will take place. The Irving Park Food Pantry has a table and asks for non-perishable food donations. On June 24, the first market of the season, over 500 people visited the Independence Park Farmers Market.

I really enjoy the beautiful homemade plum pies! I love the variety of items and just supporting local farmers. It is a cozy place to wake up to on Sunday mornings!! Of course the ice coffee from Stiver's Coffee helps a lot!
