Reviews for: Observatory Rock Bison Ranch

I have just purchased my second batch of Bison from the Observatory Rock Bison Ranch. The first time we bought a half animal, this time we bought a full animal.

We have been extremely pleased with not only the quality of the Bison that we have purchased, but have also been delighted with the personal attention of Pam (one of the owners).

The animals are processed into neatly vacuum packed frozen items, including roasts, steaks, stew meats and ground meat, and are hand delivered in the Denver Metro area (at least... probably in Colorado Springs, too...)

Even though this is a time that is financially challenging for all of us, we felt that the health benefits of this organically, grass fed, no growth-hormones, no antibiotics animal were the best value for us. We feel that there are definite health benefits that make purchasing Bison each year a must for us.

A very important point: these animals are grass fed until harvesting; they are not grain finished. I happen to personally really like that, as it reduces the fat content.

We are very satisfied, and will be back again next year.
