I always think of Easter eggs that are already colored when I open the package of eggs that Greg delivers. I am always so proud to explain to our guests and actually show them the eggs. I even show them the insides of the eggs. They are so bright and fresh. So different from the anemic store bought eggs. I have visited Greg's farm and feel I know him and his "girls" personally. I feel honored to be a customer and cannot recommend him highly enough to anyone who wants their family to have the best and the healthiest eggs available. I understand there will be fresh veggies coming soon and I can't wait for the further "greening" at our Inn. My pleasure to recommend Greg and his produce, Barbara Bell Capozzi (Owner/Innkeeper) at Evergreen in Christiansburg.

I have been very impressed with the quality of "The Happy Rooster" eggs. Greg's hens are well cared for, and provided with an environment that encourages healthy, happy hens. Their eggs have the thickest, richest yolk I've ever seen, and must be full of nutritional value that can't be matched by the pale colored yolks in grocery store eggs. I highly recommend "The Happy Rooster" eggs!

My parents, children, co-workers and I have been so pleased with the eggs from The Happy Rooster. Not only are they beautiful in the shell, but fresh and delicious for breakfast and in baking, etc. Greg is great to deal with and it's obvious he is a caring local harvester.
