Better produce than supermarket organics, fantastic varieties- fruits and veggies you never ate before as well as the staples. We really look forward to receiving our box on Saturday. Thanks, Juany & Phil and their great crew.

We have bought from Sage Farms in many locations from stores to the farm for over 5 years. Nice folks with a great business for our local benefit. Thank You for the years of health & nutrition you have blessed our home with! Always fun seeing your pups eat melons! =]

We have been subscribing the Sage Mountain Farm's CSA for several months from San Diego. For two of us, the bi-weekly small subscription works well. Each delivery has been different items and has added a ton of variety to our cooking. Our box has always had tons of different types of greens (which is wonderful as we eat lots of salad). We have also received some fruit- apples, grapefruits, delicious strawberries so far. And veggies- broccoli, cauliflower, onion, asparagus, beets, different varieties of carrots, squash to name a few. And the flavor of their produce tastes much better than anything we could get at the grocery store. It really has been a wonderful experience and I highly recommend!

I bought gift certificates for my nephew and his girlfriend for Christmas. As they live in the desert and grow some produce in the cooler winter months, they opted to wait until spring. Phil was very, very helpful in getting the gift to my nephew. They told me today that the love the freshness of the produce that they're getting in their boxes! Thanks again.

I lived in Joshua Tree for two years and subscribed to Sage Mountain CSA during that time. It was such a gift to be able to get fresh produce from a farm while living in the middle of the desert.

We had both fruit and vegetables in the box, delicious tangerines, pomegranates, grapefruit, strawberries, beets, chard, lots of greens, lettuce, potatoes, leeks, squash, even tomatoes, corn, peaches and apples when it was in season, amazing honey and great chicken eggs as well. They also have grass-fed beef for people who eat meat.

Highly recommend it!!!!

I have been getting their CSA delivery for about six weeks now and I am SO happy with it! I eat a whole-food, plant-based diet and their produce is perfect for that. The weekly small box is plenty for a single vegan :) and I only have to shop for dry beans, grains, and spices. I have fun experimenting with new recipes I wouldn't have made before and even new foods I've never tried before (originally from Maine, I'd never seen a tomatillo but now love them) all while improving my health, shopping locally, and doing my part to save the planet. I get excited to see what is in my delivery each week and what I can create. Thank you, Sage Mountain Farm, for all that you do!

I am a new member (4 months) to the Inland Empire CSA and I am an extremely satisfied customer. I am happy with everything the CSA has to offer. The vegetables and fruit have been fresh, the variety is terrific, and I am just completely satisfied. In the beginning I had a lot of questions and my phone calls were always quickly returned, and recently I had a question that I messaged on Facebook which was also quickly answered. I like that communication is so easy. I also like the convenience of the pick-up location. I give CSA 5 stars. I recommend Inland Empire CSA to anyone interested in local, seasonal, organic, produce. Thank you :)

Sincerely, Tammi Demchuk (& family)

I'm a fairly new member, received 2 weeks of shares so far and I'm loving it. It forces me to try new things, new recipes, allows my kids to eat healthier, balanced diets, and I feel as though I'm helping the community by buying locally grown, environmentally friendly, more nutritious foods. The goods have been tasty and fresh, and the people who help to distribute them are very friendly. I hope to continue doing this for a long time!

Have been members since just about the beginning. We love the variety and amount of produce we get every week. I love to cook seasonally with local produce, this is a great way to do both.

We are a new member of Inland Empire CSA this year. How did we ever exist on supermarket food for so many years? Thanks to our local organic farms we are experiencing fine, unique, and fresh produce beyond our expectations. Thanks so much!

My farmers are Phil Noble and Gary and Mel Leavitt. I say that with confidence and conviction after being a member of Inland Empire CSA for years. They are committed to the local, organic movement and are doing what they can to make local possible for us in San Diego on a larger scale in the years to come. Their farms are beautiful, thriving places, with great tasting food and a deep commitment to integrity. The boxes burst with freshly picked produce, and those folks who enjoy eating seasonally and being creative with their cooking will be very happy with CSA membership. I was a member of another CSA for several years before finding Phil at the Hillcrest Farmer's Market. The produce was spotty from that other CSA, and I was often disappointed. It is not like that with Inland Empire CSA boxes; the items are always fresh and just picked, and taste great. Having two farms that contribute to the CSA means that there is a wider variety in the box each week. I also get honey and eggs from them, which are wonderful. I'm so proud to tell people that I know my farmers, and that I trust them to feed my children.

Keep up the great work. Your produce is wonderful, tasty, and not at all like the stuff in regular groceries.

Thanks for a job well done! Rich

I purchase regularly from Sage. The veggies are wonderful. Keep up the great work Phil.

Your commitment to excellence is something I wish all would aspire to.

Thanks for being so dedicated.

I enjoyed your recent panel participation in Del Mar with Slow Foods. You panel participants were excellent, and I'm glad I attended.

It's important that our produce be organic and not just 'No spray, no pesticide' when we buy. We've visited the farm and know Phil and Juany. Their operation is completely open to anyone with questions.Talking with Phil has made me believe that the organic certification that he holds is more than just a marketing tool. He has the highest integrity when it comes to how he grows his produce. But best of all it's the taste and the freshness. I believe there is much more nutrition in his product because of the way he grows it and how fresh it is when I buy it. When I go to farmer's markets I hear vendors talk about being no spray or pesticides or that they are working on being organic but it's what they don't say or know that bother's me. Usually it's a worker who is not involved in the farm and they have no idea how to answer what level of nitrogen they are using in a fertilizer or what stage they are in their organic certification. When I ask Phil a question, he can tell me. I like knowing who is growing my food and that they care about me and my family.Times may be tough right now for us but good quality food is the one thing I make sure we are enjoying."
