You can easily become a regular at this farmers market! Even from 15 miles away, it is worth the trip every time.

it has the best variety of vendors, art, wine, food to eat as well as the farmers produce

It is close to home, breaks up the week, great markets and a wide variety of products. There are so many items to choose from including foods, crafts, wines, dog treats, and even desserts. There is normally entertainment also. You can eat at one of the local restaurants. Just a great Farmers Market in general!

MOSTLY THE TIME IT'S SO NICE TO BE ABLE TO GO AFTER WORK. ITS CLOSE FOR ME. ALSO I COME WITH MY DAUGHTER A LOT AND DOGS ARE WELCOME. OF COURSE THE FOODS OFFERED ARE GREAT, WITH A WIDE VARIETY.

The produce is wonderful! Aside from all the great foods- they also bring in wonderful entertainment for the children! Definitely one of the main reasons I bring my whole family to enjoy!

I love going to the Market! It's not too big, has a great variety of stands/booths, and I see so many people I know every time! The music is great, the food delicious, and often find things I don't see at other markets. Keep up the good work!

The Grayslake Farmers Market has a nice variety of vendors that sell organically grown produce. The vendors are very friendly.

This market is such a break from everyday. With the fresh produce and flowers as well as the food samples its almost like a county fair every week.

The location is charming - all of the vendors have warm smiling faces, the produce and products are truly a joy to view, taste and enjoy. Going to the Grayslake market is like stepping back to a simpler time. As a fringe benefit to hanging out, owners and their dogs always make good conversation.

It's huge, with a tremendous variety of vendors and its hours are convenient. I can shop there on my way home after work during the week instead of needing to make time to make a special trip on already crammed weekends. That saves my preciouis time as well as not increasing gas consumption - adding to the "greenness" of the market.

The farmers/providers are friendly and nice to deal with. It's great to be able to shop for fresh local meat, cheeses and bakery items, in addition to all of the wonderful produce. It gives you a sense of security as well to know who is growing your food!

Great vendors, especially the cheese buy, Lester the bison man, and the great local produce. Like the sangria too! Great family atmosphere and love the dogs!

Because the produce is fresh and natural and I like to help the farmers in our area. The sweet corn is worth the wait through the other 3 seasons. The people are very courteous.

Produce is fresher, less expensive. Unique product. Locally grow plants grow better in my garden.

GFM is really great. I can get there after work or a workout at the Y. They always have a great selection up until the market closes. The vendors are great, amny will get something special if you ask. The meats and vegetables are always fresh. Many of the vendors will often take the time to give you hints or cooking tips.

FRESH food items. I love the fact that things are natural, not picked when green then shipped and then sold. I love that things are ripe from the vine. THE EAT OFF THE COB CORN IS THE BEST!

First - it is the closest! That being said, they always have the best vendors, wonderful variety of booths, and fantastic produce.

Although a member of a CSA, there are still additional fruits and veggies that I sometimes need. Plus, I love buying cheeses, breads, and sometimes free-range meats from the farmer's market!

I love getting locally grown produce, and checking out the baked goods and crafts. The best part is that it takes place on an afternoon/evening...that makes it way more convenient than other markets!

They have a great selection - I love the cheese and the fresh veggies and Lester's Bison! I love that it's in the afternoon hours - so many of the local markets are during my working hours - makes it even more desirable!

Great diversity of products - not just endless stalls of the same vegetables & jams over & over, but in addition to tradition wares, has really high quality breads, cheeses, meats, plants, ready-to-eat, wines, natural sodas, hummus, etc. Also love the fact that it's at an accessible time (Wednesday afternoon/evening) and is located in the downtown area, which helps support downtown viability.

The Grayslake Farmers Market is the largest and oldest market around that never fails to offer something new and unique. It is great!

It's the first place my kids ate purple potatoes - you can't get those at the grocery store! It's a great way to eat healthy, try new items and see your neighbors.

Teh Grayslake Famers Market makes sleepy Grayslake come alive. This is a great market which brings the community together, allowing neighbors to interact, bringing vendors who provide great, natural and fresh foods to the community in my own backyard!

The Grayslake Farmers Market is everything a local farmers market should be. Local and filled with farmers wares.

It is a great reason to get outside in nice weather, meet some good people, buy some good food, and do it in a more personal way.

The hours are perfect. I work in Chicago and catch the train everyday. On Wednesdays, I can get off the train, stop by the market and bring fresh veggies home to last the week.

I love the fresh foods! There is a wonderful assortment of food vendors with some artisans booths sprinkled around. Held in historic downtown Grayslake, the atmosphere is quaint and laid back. There is live music and plenty of activities for the children.

A wonderful market to attend and the time of the market 3p - 7p is very attractive to the folks that work - they also have vendors that provide a delicious dinner, too.
