I am a regular at this market on Wednesday mornings. While I have always enjoyed this market, I do not usually post reviews, however some of this years new vendors motivated me to share. Aside from the usual fruits and vegetables there are a few unique vendors including knife sharpening, specialty brewed coffees and fresh crepes. In my opinion, this years "best new vendor" award goes hands down to Bigio Imports, a delightful Italian specialty maket with everything you need sweet and savory to send your tasebuds on a journey to Rome, Tuscany and Sicily. They offer both prepared products and ingredients with cooking suggestions you can use in your own kitchen and plenty of samples served with a smile. This market is worth the visit, located just east of the train station off Roger Williams in Highland Park.

Nice local market, with a good selection of vendors. Quality produce, cheeses, olive oils, breads are all available. Even a knife sharpener is available. Everything is near by beautiful Jens Jensen Park, so you can grab a croissant and sit by the fountain after your morning shopping.
