We've been enjoying a weekly veggie box for almost a year. The produce is high quality and fresh. It's so nice to have it delivered right to the door.

I need a sixth star for the rating! The weekly veggie box was the best investment. The produce was like opening a spread in a hipster food magazine: lush, large, colorful, rich in flavor . . . wow! We come from a community that is rich with CSA's and local produce. Churn Creek's CSA box reminds us of home--and it is one of my favorite things in Redding. The boxes were always on time. The ordering/payment/communication was easy. Albert and Mary's farm's veggies were everything I couldn't get from local stores. And it was delivered weekly right to my door! Unbelievable! Substitutions were easy and Mary was wonderful to communicate with via email. Albert is the kindest! I am confident that I could not make a better choice for my wife and boys' nutritional and gastronomic delight! I want to continually gush. We subscribed to the veggie box two separate times in our four years. I wish I'd never stopped. If we weren't moving, we'd continue indefinitely. Thank you Albert and Mary

As a traveler to the Saturday Farmers' Market, I've enjoyed the warm and friendly atmosphere at Albert and Mary's booth. It's wonderful to see farmers who are so passionate about growing organic produce.

Some of my favorites that they offer are the grapes, sitaw and bataw beans (varieties brought over by Albert from the Philippines), tomatoes and green gage plums.

Recently, I cooked some mung beans that I bought from them last fall; I was stunned by the results! The aroma and taste were absolutely sublime. Folks who like mung beans must try these; they will be in epicurean heaven.

Albert and Mary provide a wonderful service and excellent organic produce. I love it that they deliver directly to my home, and that I can make substitutions and additions to my regular order each week. They have created a very simple, convenient, streamlined process, and they are extremely pleasant, too! Our two favorite items: farm fresh eggs, and the delicious stir-fry greens.

Mary and Albert are very nice people. They provide a wonderful service that I wish was available in every community.

The food was fresh and very high quality produce and eggs. I was challenged to use some varieties of vegetables and fruits I had never used before. The recipes Mary sends are great and help you add new ideas for meals.

I also love that you can pick what you want in your food box and add extras anytime you may need a special item.

When we started our delivery service with Al and Mary two years ago, I was on the fence regarding organic food. With 7 children (6 at the time), cost was a big factor, but then so was saving time, and we wanted to eat seasonal food that had flavor. From our first box, we have not been disappointed. Gone are the days of picking over veggies at the supermarket with the hopes that this bunch of broccoli or that avocado will actually taste as it should. Churn Creek's produce is intense with flavor, freshness and variety. That makes cooking and food prep not just a chore, but something exciting and rewarding. Mary's recipes are always a hit with the family, and it's a highlight of the week to chat with Al when he drops off the produce box.

Great people. High level of ethics and integrity. A wonderful example of a family dedicated to organic farming. What they produce is truly a labor of love. You'll not find two better people than Mary and husband Albert.

We have been "box" customers for more than a year now and receive on every Wednesday afternoon a home delivered assortment of seasonal fruits and vegetables. You should know that CCMOF's tomatoes are to die for (The wife says I should have written "to live for"!). Their other assortments of home grown produce are of the very highest quality.

Having been in the wholesale/retail produce business ourselves, we know this business inside and out. You'll not find any organic product finer than what's found at the Churn Creek Meadow Organic Farm.
