In addition to providing great local produce in a great community, they have several events that promote green living, such as recycling and rain barrel days. Enjoy strolling around meeting like-minded members of our community each Saturday. It's not just a veggie store - it's a social event.

I love Homewood, I love the people, the town, and the farmer's market. Although, I do not live there; I am thinking about moving there because I love the town and my children enjoy coming there all the time;and the town is very diverse and I saw the diversity when I was visiting the farmer's market and the Homewood-Flossmoor High School.

I'm so please, this year the Market has really flourished...I was so disappointed last year, as there weren't many vendors at all...this time around there are not only more vendors, but many offer organic goods / produce as well!

Homewood's Farmer's Market does an awesome job promoting "living green"! I recently purchased a rain barrel for a very reasonable price. It came with all the necessary attachments and was easy to set up and start using. There is also a large variety of organically grown produce. I especially enjoy the Express Yourself Coffees and Fatty's baked goods. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Local Food, what else? What one buys in the store is picked weeks before it is ripe, and it still is not ripe, or even tasty, once it is brought home to eat. EAT LOCAL!

The Farmer's Market adds to the already wonderful sense of community Homewood provides it's residents and visitors. We've come to know the vendors over the years, and look forward to seeing old friends and new each week!

Farmers Markets are an important way to have local produce available to the village. Homewood's is one of the best.

The selections from local farmers and vendors and truly unique and I appreciate that the farmer's market is available to me on the weekend instead of a weekday morning when I can't attend, like so many other local neighborhoods.

They've got a great array of specialty items you can't find anywhere else near by and organic goods cheaper than the grocery stores.

It has a wonderful selection of everything for your kitchen and good healthy meals for your family.I want to support the local market because the vendors are the heart of America: hard working people.

A great selection, walkable location, and they have "green" activities, such as this week's water garden workshops and proomoting rain barrels.

We walk or ride bikes to the market all season to do our small part to help save the planet while supporting local farmers, bakers, cheese makers, and gardeners in the process.

I am so impressed with how this market has such a variety. I really liked the addition of baked things and cheese. The people are always friendly, and the prices seem better than some of the stores. I like to walk in town, and always seem to buy more than I need. Thanks for a great market.
