I enjoy the large variety of vendors and products and produce. The ambience is outstanding with a Cook Park and Cook Library right there. Whitey O'Day's music is outstanding. I like visiting with the rescue group that brings dogs and cats to the market.

Libertyville's market is one of the very best farmers markets in the Chicagoland area. A wide range of "direct from the farmer" vendors, since no re-selling is allowed here. This is a "food only" market, with no crafts, so you can expect the highest quality products. Cooking demonstrations, restaurant demonstrations, and kid's story time are among the super entertaining activities. Wherever you live in Chicago, this one is worth the drive!

They have an awesome variety that encourages my family to try new foods. It helps that the vendors know how to prepare what they offer - you can't find that at Target.

The products that I buy are not only superior in quality to the products in the supermarket but they are directly benefitting those who put in the blood, sweat and tears. I think it's important for us to more directly support our farmers.

I love going to the market for the fresh produce, bakery and especially for the Kettle Corn, YUM! The folks in all the booths are helpful and the fruit and veggies are usually picked just that morning, how much fresher can you get. I also love going in to town and running into friends and neighbors.

It's wonderful to have the opportunity to select from such a large selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, so many beautiful flowers, specialty items from baked goods to olives & hummus to fresh crepes to organic meat and so many more. I feel very fortunate to attend each week, and plan my weekly shopping around the Libertyville farmers market.

Potato Pancakes, that's all you need to know... Okay, I also love the farmers who tout their produce and will let you sample it before purchasing so you know what you are buying. You won't get that at your local grocery store!

The market has a wonderful variety to select from. The produce vendors are great! The freshness and flavors bring me back week after week. I not only purchase items for my family, but also for my office team as well. The fresh flowers brighten our office and our clients admire them. When they comment on them, we send them over to the farmers market. The atmosphere is so nice, its a great place to meet with a few friends/neighbors to enjoy the morning with a cup of coffee. I have been a regular visitor for the past four years and will continue to support the Libertyville's farmers market. Thank you for a well organized, enjoyable weekly event!

Libertyville is a small but large town. The farmer's market is a fine addition to the wide variety of activities in downtown coordinated by a group of volunteers who do a mighty fine job. The market is refreshing with friendly vendors, a variety of fresh products to chose from. I basically plan my meals all around what is in season and being offered at market. I like the location best -- right in downtown. Libertyville is a special place. A picture of Libertyville's downtown from 100 years ago is very recognizable, which is not something most suburban American towns can boast. The market in Libertyville seems "real," not fancy-dancy. Just a real market in a real place.
