I love the opportunity to buy directly from the farmers, to talk to them and get to know them and their families, learn about their growing practices...and there is nothing better than getting fresh picked produce in season. NOTHING BETTER!

Farmers sell super quality stuff, there's a range of delicious food, the music and special events are uniformly great, and it's just a super place to meet friends, have fun and stock up on local produce and food.

Organic food and organic music are the two most important combinations on this planet. Where else but in Woodstock, where a singing sax or a gliding guitar help us to keep what sanity we may have left.

we go there for food in theory, but human kindness in point of fact. we mingle and talk to friends that we would never ordinarily get to see in the middle of the week. the music is great, the produce superb - we leave with bags bulging and hearts swelling, feeling truly part of a community. this is the best thing to happen to woodstock in a long time....

The wonderful foods are one part of it. The social aspect is even more so; meeting people, old and new, talking, discussing, argueing, hearing wonderful music, eating and drinking together are the essentials of rich living. There is no other place in our Town where this can happen.

The Woodstock Farm Festival brings to Woodstock what we had when we had a supermarket. A place to shop and socialize with the rest of the town. Of course this is a much nicer atmosphere.

It not only provides an outlet for local farms to sell produce, it provides an opportunity for local restaurants to sell food prepared from local produce and entertainment by local area singing groups, performers such as magicians, choral groups, rock groups, childrens sing-a-longs, chmaber musicians, etc. An evening of fun for all.
