Fresh, home grown produce is heavenly! I sincerely appreciate all of the growers at the Uptown Farmers Market! Bless you All!

We support all local area businesses, especially our Farmers Market. It moved back to our community just last year and we are delighted to have them here. Wonderful fresh produce, bread, nuts, great repeat sellers ... win, win for the community and for "our" growers.

I enjoy going every Friday to buy their great products, friendly environment and I just love it.

I am disabled with major health issues so itss great to have access to fresh heealthy produce. Its also a greatt way to briing neighbors together like the good ol days!

We love the farmers market for better deals and a wonderful outdoor setting to shop!

It also has a pet adoption area. And, to top it off, it has some good fresh buffalo meat.

I've shopped at farmers markets in Long Beach since 1991. It makes a huge difference to know the people who grown my food. I can ask them whether they spray pesticides or when cherry season is ending. I feel like I buy my food the way billions of others around the world do -- by supporting the people who grow it.

I work in downtown Long Beach and am able to purchase quality, locally-grown products during my lunch hour without doing any extra driving!

I get all my frest fruit, nuts and veggies at the Farmers' Markets in Long Beach. I had been a long-time grocery store buyer, but I hadn't relaized HOW MUCH BETTER fresh fruits and veggies tasted until I moved to Long Beach in 1991 and first tasted just-picked fruit.

Rev Whitney is a friend and a dedicated, tireless advocate of the Farmers Market. I support him in this important work.

While I don't currently live in Long Beach, I used to and I still attend church in your wonderful city. Thus, I spend a great deal of time there. I enjoy attending Farmers Markets in many places. They promote a sense of community and remind us city dwellers of a different life. Your market is vital and should be viewed as the treasure that, I'm sure, many consider it to be.

convenient, I can literally roll out of bed and over to the farmers market. What I like is that I get the chance to cook fresh on Thursdays, which used to be a almost leftover day. Reminds me of when I was growing up, my mother always shopped Thursdays. Wow the peach seson is coming up!

Not only does it has a wonderful community atmosphere, and fun, multi-cultural ambiance, but most importantly, the Uptown Farmers Market is an excellent venue for the small business owner. Plus, it is a great place to find fresh, organic produce at reasonable prices.

Food is fresher, less expensive and offered in a fun, community atmosphere. There is often live music, pet adoptions available, and a great selection of hard to find ethnic herbs & spices and organic & homeopathic soaps and lotions.

Although they are a small farmer's market, everything is always delicious, the people are super nice, and the variety is great. I try to go as often as I can to get my produce from here.

It's GREAT and a program of the South Coast Interfaith Council of which I'm a board member.
