Reviews for: Long Beach Downtown Farmers Market

This was my favorite thing to look forward to on Fridays when I lived downtown. My favorite, most frequented merchant was the guy who sells apples. He has awesome Fuji apples, and the best Asian pears when they're in season! I live a few miles away now, so don't get to go as often as I'd like, but still enjoy it when I do go. Love the downtown ambience!

Because it's walkable from my work and bikeable from my house. It's also bringing fresh fruits and vegetables to a community that's inundated with liquor stores, fast food restaurants and big-box retail. So this is a case of community grass-roots change veiled as a farmer's market!! Woo-hoo!

I love the choice of goods to buy. Most of the sellers will put out samples of all there fruits, veggies etc. So you can try them all, find out which you prefer and what is the ripest and tastiest.There is such a wide variety of everything , fruits, veggies, honey and the unusual catnip,wheatgrass and more. Everyone is friendly too.

Low prices, great crafts, location right in the middle of downtown is easy to walk to from work, near lots of great restaurants to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and the market goes from 10 AM to 4 PM!

I love all of the food and the things they sell are so cool. I always buy something.

It's the best with the most friendly vendors and patrons. Big city with a small town feel.

The best selection of local nuts, fruits, veggies, bread, spreads, and mediterranian foods. There I can buy every edible grocery I need for the week without ever going to a store.

It meets the needs of many people who can not afford better vegetables and fruits.
