This is very nice market selling flowers, fresh fruits and veggies, baked goods ... and those yummy hot doughnuts. If you have a dog, please bring them to see the Pet guy.

A great time for the family and pets.

Does anyone know where the kettle-corn vendor went from last year? They offered more in variety than the current vendor does and had huge lemon shakeups.

Not sure where the kettle corn guy is (wasn't he on the corner last year?), but we bought really good lemon shake ups from another vendor this week...I can't remember what else they are selling, but they were on the end of the row right by the girl who comes in to sing, across from the knife sharpener's tent. They tasted so good! Hopefully he'll be back again sometime this season, we miss that kettle corn!

My husband and I went to the Wheaton French Market two weeks ago in search of organic produce, such as vegetables, fruit and cheese and non-GMO breads. We only found one farmer that sold hydroponic type tomatoes. So we were very disappointed. The rest of the market is fine if you enjoy buying the other type of goods they offer.

My family and I really enjoyed this French Market. So many vendors. Great produce available. Just really good to go to.

I Really like the variety of vendors here. After talking with some of the farmers though I was disappointed to find out that much of the produce is sprayed with herbicides & pesticides, not all, but most. Coming to a place like this I was under the assumption that there would be more local, organic/sustainable farms.

It is the end of October, do you really expect local produce this time of year? Most of it was bought at wholesale markets in Chicago. If you want locally grown, pesticide-free produce you have to make it to the market before the end of September!

Love this market... a great place, but do go early or the heirloom tomatoes will be gone. If you don't go until 10 or 11, there will still be fantastic produce, bakery items, and flowers. The clothing, jewelry and handbags are nice too! We've been 2 times and have been very pleased with the variety of vendors. Most vendors said this was as far west as they go, so if you live west of wheaton.... make the trip. Some will go to Geneva (which is the same market organization) but it is only 25 or 30% of the vendors as it is a newer location. Saturday in Wheaton, Sunday in Geneva... a fun couple of weekend mornings. I think it's funny how people just won't go 20 minutes further.. because it's "too far". I say, get out of your 5 mile radius. I hope the vendors will go to Geneva, too, because us west-siders will be faithful.

I have been to dozens of others and this by far is the very best. Variety of vendors and vendors are very friendly.

The Wheaton French Market has a variety of locally produced items and sustainably managed operations. You can get it all: fruit, vegetables, dairy, desserts (tasty tarts baked by local nuns), wine, crafts, etc.!

I used to live in Wheaton & would attend the French Market on Saturdays during the summer. It has everything from fruits & vegtables to homemade dog treats, flowers, jewelry, bakery, and more. Lots of vendors. It's a fun place to be!

I liked the Wheaton French Market but it was very crowded. Besides the produce vendors there are a lot of booths with gifts, jewelery and crafts. I would say it makes about 50% of the vendors. Overall I would recommend a visit.

My husband and I use to live in Wheaton, but never went to the French Market. Now we live in C.S. and I was looking for fresh fruits. The grocery store fruit is horrible. We found the Wheaton French Market and are now hooked. The fruits we bought tasted like we just picked them. The only thing wrong with the market is the wonderful, delicious pastries, yikes! I've been dieting and the pastries are soooo good that I limit my calories a few days before just to partake in the awesome pastries.

Hope all will take the time to visit the Market and let your taste buds live for once.

I look forward every year to the Wheaton French market and its wide variety of items. Great smells, tastes and lots of things to look at. Try it and you will like it too. Some of my favorites are the kettle corn, Thai eggrolls and spring rolls(great peanut sauce), and a wide variety of fruits, vegatables, plants and flowers. Also available is a wide selection of gift items including dog treats. Go and enjoy!!!!!
