Love going here and I should do it all year while they are open. I make it once per year for sure in the fall to get squashes, pumpkins, cabbage and potatoes for the winter. They always have the best price and the best selection. Be prepared, it can be crowded and parking is limited, but you can find a spot on Main Street or the lot.

OK, first of all I love Wagners produce, but if you are looking for locally grown produce on their own farm, this is a bit deceptive. They get produce from many different farmers, some corporate farms. I checked on their "Homeade Pie Fillings" and they were made in Illinois.

With that said, they have darn good produce at exceptional prices. When I freeze and can each year I go to Wagners to buy my produce in bulk. I can walk out with a 50 lb bag of potatoes for $5 or a 20lb bag of beets, bushels of tomatoes. I can get amazing green peppers, hot peppers, tomatoes, brussel sprouts, etc all in small or very large quantities. Last year I bought a ton of little decorative pumpkins and gourds for a church function and I think I paid about a quarter a piece. I love their store/stand, but be mindful that this place is more a business than a altruistic organic environmental family farm stand.
