What makes you think all the produce is grown locally by the vendors selling it there? Don't assume that it is! There is a wholesale produce auction in Lagrange county where some of them buy there inventory. I know because I used to sell produce at the Auburn Farmers Market, it's a great market. I had extra produce that I took to that auction once and another vendor from Auburn bought it and brought it back to Auburn to sell. And don't think that what the Amish have to sell there is any different than anyone elses, they use pesticides just like everyone else to produce a good, safe and plentiful supply of nutritious foods.

I like the variety of products and the quality of all goods that are sold there. The people are great and it provides homegrown, homemade products from local people to those of us that don't grow our own or make our own!
