This is our third year as Friendship Farms CSA partners. As we run a business of our own, we do not have time, nor the land (we live in the woods) to grow our own. We have become very attached to the folks who spend the time to create the lovely, organically grown produce and find our interactions quite uplifting. Each year there are new items and each season the weekly basket varies. We were previously affiliated with a different CSA. It was good but did not operate as a closely knit community.

I have been a member of this csa for three years and am quite happy with it. The farm gives members an assortment of fresh vegetables every week, so there is always something I love to eat in my share. Since joining I have tried many vegetables for the first time and found that I didn't know what I was missing from the supermarket. Fresh is so much better! There are far more interesting varieties available here, too, which I love to diversify my dinner table. I really look forward to picking up some staples like lettuce or potatoes or onions (when in season) as well as a new variety of squash or radish I have never tried. I find the size of the shares to be price appropriate and feel like it is a very good value for the quality and quantity I receive. My diet has vastly improved since I joined this csa! My kids eat many more veggies now, too, since fresh tastes better. I like picking up at the farm and chatting with the farmers but they offer alternate pickup locations as well.

This is my second year with Friendship Farms CSA and I couldn't be happier. Jaime and Susan do an exceptional job and I look forward to my pick up day each week! I'm thankful my family is receiving local, nutritious food and I love that at the same time we are supporting our community.

Hurry up and grow veggies! Last summer was a bumper crop and we are anxiously awaiting the new food. We missed it tremendously this winter.

2012 was our family's first year participating in a CSA. We discovered Friendship Farms through this website and I'm so glad I found them. I feel good supporting the local economy, eating organic veggies, and exposing my children to where food actually comes from! I've been pleased with the value that we received this year. Each week we received a great variety of our favorites and new veggies that I'm slowly learning how to store, prep, and cook. I'm glad to be part of this community and look forward to next year!

My husband and I have decided to eat as many vegetables as we can and avoid all refined and processed foods. Well, Friendship Farms is the furthest thing from processed around!! We love the surprise mix of veggies each week and have been introduced to so many types of new greens and have enjoyed the old favorites, beets, turnips and radishes! We opted for the month extension and are even interested in a longer term. Jaime is a great farmer and a joy to see every week when we pick up our treasures from the barn. Hope to be part of it all again next year.

2012 will be our fourth year receiving nutrient rich, fabulous tasting vegetables and herbs from Friendship Farms. We couldn't be happier supporting hardworking, knowledgable, and kind individuals who strive to build a healthy community through their products and education. Thank you Friendship Farms!

2012 will be my third year with Friendship Farms CSA. I have been introduced to several new vegetables (kohlrabi, kale, and swiss chard, and others) and have integrated them into my menus. I am missing them through these winter months. Though I can get these veggies from the local grocery, I really like knowing my summer veggies are produced organically. The owners and staff at Friendship Farms are so knowledgable and willing to share their experiences that I realy feel I have an ownership interest in the success of the CSA. I'm also given the opportunity to make suggestions for the next years's crops. I was happy to volunatarily "work the farm" last summer and look forward to doing it again.
