I've been going weekly to Bayview Market for 4 years and it's my favorite on Whidbey. The farms are pretty consistent in quality and prices, so I know what to expect, and what will be available. Last year, they lengthened the market season until November, and I took advantage of fall produce. I always attend their Christmas market because the craft booths are exceptional, and I can stock up on produce one last time before winter truly kicks in. The prices are a bit higher at the market than prices at the roadside stands, but I always buy our garden starts, crates of strawberries, and blueberries at the market. As a Whidbey Islander, I regularly visit all the island markets, and Bayview is the best as far as prices and offerings, although Coupeville has more craft booths.

I find great local organic food and skin care. See friends and meet new people. It's a lively atmosphere, usually with entertainment.

It's the place to go on Saturday... lively, smiling neighbors and visitors, smells of exotic foods (African!), vibrant energy, great produce for fair prices, Marimba!

Fresh fruit and veggies and nice people. Nothing has traveled 5000 or more miles to this market. Wish it was all year.
