I really love this farmer market I went a lot with my shiba inu when she was a puppy. Mind you it was allowed at the year I brought her..

Last year I was informed dogs not welcomed to the market the lady who told me was a bit rude.

I said no biggie I stayed on the side walk with Saya and walked around there she still got attention from people.

I still bring her this year too I walk on the side walk with her and she behaves well and once my mom is done shopping she watches Saya while I shop.

Main reason I go to the farmer's market is for Saya I feed her a lot of the meat, bone in items, and organs from there. I also buy meat for my self too.

She can't be on kibble so she is fed a balanced researched diet.

I do buy her grocery meats too, but only when it's on sale for a good price. I prefer buying her stuff from the market since it's locally grown and grass fed or free ranged.

She is so much healthy thanks to the healthy meats the farmers sells. She even gets bit of veggies I cook and she loves them.

I love the vendors every person I talk to are very friendly and when I was able to bring Saya they enjoyed how well behaved she was and how she never touched anything.

I do understand why they banned dogs from the farmer's market probably due to some people bringing their dog that don't do well at the farmer's market. I've seen some well behaved dogs that listened well to their owners and some who barked a lot over nothing.

Then one time I saw a lady with a Pomeranian who had the dog on a very long leash and allowed him to roam everywhere. This dog even peed on the vendor's stall I was so mad at this lady wished I picked Saya up and told her off for allowing that dog's behavior.

People like that give good dog owners a bad name and no wonder they put the rule up..

Some farmer's market still allow dogs wish there was one near me I miss being able to bring Saya inside with me to buy her bison, lamb, pork ribs, and organs.. She behaved well never went to anyone unless I told her to.

I guess my review went a bit off topic, but I felt it was semi on topic. I really missed the dog friendly vibe to it.

I still go Saya enjoys being on the side too she still meets many people and kids. She still gets her grass fed and free ranged meats and I still get a healthy happy dog thanks to the local grown meats.

I appreciate everything the farmers do for us growing their crops and raising their animals right.

I have a small garden in my yard and field so I semi understand the hardship it is to grow good crop.

One more thing thanks so much the first year I brought Saya to the market has brought me many fond memories she is so well behaved and loves people because of it.

Once I get a better job I hope to buy pretty much all my meals from the farmer's market. I already feel much healthier and happy eating better quality food.

I mean if feeding this meat helps my saya with her spinal injury it must be good.

I love the farmer market.

The flowers and vegetables grown locally around Lafayette, Indiana are of excellent quality and the vendors are friendly. Heck, they are our neighbors!
