Everyone is right about the quality of his veggies. We enjoy his produce and we love his family. His daughters are so helpful and hard-working. But the best part has been his chickens and eggs. The eggs are just what you want: farm fresh and delicious, with a nice yolk and creamy white. He sorts by size so you can bake with them too. And the chickens are so delicious and juicy, with meat that has real flavor. We get one each week and we ordered twenty for the freezer over the wintertime. Join this CSA. You'll love it.

We are getting ready to enter our third season with the Bourne family and their CSA at The Lamb's Quarter. It has been a great experience thus far and we look forward to another season. The produce is always very good along with their meat selection. It is great to know that we are helping to support a local farm. Almost forgot, the eggs are excellent too :)

My husband and I visit the Lamb's Quarter booth every time we go to the Alexandria Farmer's Market. We have nothing but praise for Mr. Bourne and his products. We regularly buy produce, chicken and pork from him, and look forward to chatting with him about food, farming, and sustainability! Their products have made a believer out of this urban girl

We have enjoyed being a part of the community. The vegetables and eggs have been great. We have also bought a chicken with no problems. The family is very sweet.

I joined this CSA this summer, and stayed on through the fall. Every box has been full of wonderful vegetables and it's been quite an adventure to try all the new things I was given to try. The family is wonderful, and I always enjoy the few minutes I get to spend with them while picking up my veggies.

I joined the Lamb's Quarter CSA this year and have been very pleased with the quality of the vegatables. I hope they will try growing even more vegetables so there will be a lot of choices when making dinner. Everything I have picked up has been very fresh, clean and bug free. I look forward to picking up my weekly share to see what we have for the week. I recommend them highly.

I picked up my second box of greens, so chock full that I wondered where I'd put it in my fridge! The veggies are fresh, grit free, bug free, organic, and so full of flavor you can eat it plain and not feel like you're missing anything!

This family has it all figured out. They're kind and friendly folks, living off the land as God intended. They're like a "closed herd", keeping to themselves, putting their family first, as it should be.

I'm so glad to be a part of this new CSA farm, and I'm thrilled to support them. They've been learning as they go, using a little modern knowledge to go along with experience of the generations of farmers before them. Lets help keep the working farms working!
