I would like any and all here to know that Olden Produce is a fabulous place, committed to bringing you everything they say they will, and more :) They are passionate and excited about what they do, and always looking for new ways to expand and share their products and partner with others to work for a similar goal. It is this community mindedness that is so welcoming and engaging and provides something for everyone.

I worked at Olden Produce all last season and had the opportunity to learn, see and do so much! I must tell you: I have never ever tasted vegetables, fruits, and eggs so good as that of Olden Produce! Picked at its peak, the flavor is amazing! If you are looking for a CSA, look no further; if you are looking for a place to work and learn about small-scale local chemical-free agriculture, I strongly encourage you to contact Olden Produce. You will have the opportunity to really dig in and see how the system works (from greenhouse, field work, chickens, weeding/row management, harvest and storage, quality control, pest management, irrigation, and of course farmer's markets and everything CSA), and get to know other area farmers as well. Farming is hard work and long days, but if it's what you love, the season flies by, especially when you're with all the lovely people involved with Olden Produce :)

I have had the opportunity to occasionally help Olden Produce box CSA shares and help with their produce stand and farmers markets. I am also a customer. You will not find anyone more dedicated to providing the highest quality of locally grown produce anywhere. They screen their partners carefully to ensure that what the customer receives is exactly what they asked for - all natural, chemical free locally grown and produced foods. They are always looking for ways to improve service and the variety of goods they bring to your family's table. You can't go wrong here!

We buy from Olden Produce because they have the best tasting eggs and vegetables in the area. Dick and Tracy are honest people who genuinely care about what they feed their customers by running their farm non-GMO and chemical-free.

We've been with Olden for a few years now, and haven't a single complaint. The variety of the produce offered is great, and the additional share options are wonderful; eggs (by far the areas best), cheese, bread, pasta, pork (also the areas best), fruit, all produced by local farms. Haven't tried the maple syrup share, but I have heard wonderful things about it.

When we picked a CSA years ago, one of the most important factors for me was being able to visit the farm. We enjoy visiting, and have more so enjoyed Tracy and Dick giving us the opportunity to not only learn more, but to help out on the farm. Although, they won't let me drive the tractor yet!

They are always willing to stop the hard work for a chat, be it to discuss the weather, last weeks share and how to cook the funny looking bunch of stuff you've never seen before, or the antics of Mel and Addie (both of which are sweet and innocent as can be!)

Bottom line is that we have been happy members and can't imagine going elsewhere. Being able to see the farm and more importantly how they farm is key. The believe in doing it the right way, and that IS what they do.

Olden Produce's fruits, veggies, & eggs have been such a gift in our lives. This is how produce & eggs are supposed to taste! Tracy & Dick Vinz are knowledgeable, sustainable farmers that become great friends to their CSA members. It's fun to learn about the events happening at the farm every week through their newsletter. Even more, it's great to speak to them at the local Farmer's Markets about ideas on how to eat a veggies we've never tried before. We will be with them for a LONG time!!

My favorite thing about Olden produce is that I know someone has lovingly cared for every egg (and chicken that laid it), fruit or vegetable that goes onto my table. Tracy and Dick take so much pride in the work that they do and I often see CSA members who, in return, put love into what they cook, bake or eat raw. You just don't get that appreciation when you are buying food from the grocery store.

2011 was our first CSA share year with Olden Produce. I had heard many great things about their farm from other members, as well as their customers at the farmer's market. We purchased a full share, a honey share and a late season share. I was impressed with the quality of the produce and Dick and Tracy's honesty and openess about their farm. They have an open door policy and our family visited the farm. I feel good knowing I am supporting a local farmer and I feel ethically secure in the choice we made. My only regret was not getting an egg share and a fruit share.

This was my first year as a member, and I'm so glad I joined! For our family of two mainly vegetarian people, the half share was the perfect amount. I was so excited to receive each weekly newsletter to find out what would be in that week's box--sometimes the box held great suprises like maple syrup, a windowbox of herb seedlings, and loaves of artisan bread!

The sweet corn is some of the best I've ever eaten (picked the day they go in the box), and Tracey and Dick go the extra mile to include organically & locally grown, seasonal fruits like blueberries, strawberries, peaches, and Door County cherries.

I love knowing that I'm supporting a local farmer AND eating healthier. We'll be members for many years to come!

Last year was the first year I participated in Olden Produce's CSA. It was high quality produce, in a large variety. I like that they have a half share stretch, which worked well for my family. They even helped get the produce to me when I was unable to make it to the drop site a few times. I really liked being able to get fresh, local produce from really good people, instead of a factory farm in Mexico. They now have a drop site in the Fox Valley which is a lot closer to me, so I will definately be participating again this year!
