My family has had a cottage in PA my entire life, and the Farmer's Market has breathed a whole new breath of life into Port Austin. It's the highlight of the weekend. Well done with great variety.

I think anywhere there is an opportunity for there to be a local farmers market there should be! It promotes growth and comraderie and promotes good nutrition for a healthy community!

It's a vary pleasant experience. The people are very nice and the products are very good. It's a fun thing to do on Sat. Morning with friends or by yourself.

I became a Port Austin business owner four years ago, and it amazes me how successful it has become. I own a restaurant and customers come in and comment on how it is not only a farmers market, but also a place to meet new people and visit with old friends. That is what i think is pretty cool.

The produce and other items are great, plus a great place to run into old friends.

My family and I enjoy the atmosphere of the market, the free horse drawn carriage rides, the food booths and, of course, the craft booths! We also enjoy the Kids Fun event that the PA Farmers Market hosts on the second weekend of market.

You can buy a whole meal including dessert in one place. The artists are unique and the Lake is a beautiful backdrop for the market. I have seen more friends and family this summer then I have in ages!!!

The Port Austin Farmers Market provides a wonderful environment to meet with friends and neighbors, talk with local farmers and buy fresh produce. The location of the mareket, two blocks from Lake Huron, provides an incredible backdrop for the market. The people who work at the market and make it the success that it is are the key link in this great example of farm markets. It is personal, friendly, social and cool all at the same time.

The Port Austin Farmer's Market has a lot of everything! The produce, crafts, and antiques are all high quality. It is also "the place" to see "old" friends and meet new ones!

I have worked or shopped weekly since the Port Austin Farm Mrkt began. It is a community gathering and effort where we share our healthy environment with all those who choose to attend the Saturday morning event. We are very proud of our Village and it's Harvests & Hospitality.

The market is magical as it brings people outby the hundreds, buying, selling, eating, singing, dancing. It is an aire of fantasy right in downtown Port Austin.

Port Austin Farmers Market has been the best market I have ever been to for makeing money. The market is laid out well,clean ,with lot of fun for the kids and great music. The Vendors are very friendly and helpful to. Oh by the way the food great too.

Port Austin Farmer market is set in a beautiful community on Lake Huron. There are lots of options fresh food and independent, creative, unique hand-made items. It's also very clean and well-spaced.

This eclectic setting and diverse offerings provided a small town setting with a rich source of goods. The support staff were so professional and helpful and the mood was relaxed. Spacious areas for visitors provided a unique and affordable market that exceeded my expectations. BRAVO!!!

The Farmers Market is a great place for locals and visitors alike. What's better than fresh fuits and veggies in the summer! One of our favorite items is the most wonderful local honey! Being motel owners we don't get there as often as we'd like but we send our guests there every Saturday and they come back completely amazed at how wonderful it was.

Not only is the Port Austin Farmers Market a great place to pick up fresh produce, fresh meat and a wide variety of other items, it has also become a social happening where one often meets up with friends from all over the county. There is a "friendly" feel to the market which is apparent in the many smiles observed among the vendors and the shoppers. Additionally, every person who helps out with the Farmers Market has volunteered without being asked. These volunteers share a community pride and interest in the opportunities offered by the Farmers Market. The market is an organized,well thought-out, and growing event in this small community at the "Tip of the Thumb."

My children go to this market on a regular basis and they love it! The vendors are friendly and fun.

I think this is a GREAT Farmers Market. The only thing I would change is allowing dogs. I do not think that dogs should be allowed at the market for safety reasons. Other than that it's a fantastic market!!!!

The market is awesome. I can get Buffalo, Cheese and my watermelon guy always picks me the best watermelons. There's nothing like fresh produce

The PA Farmers market has anything and everything that a person could want. It brings vacationers and local residents together and provides quality produce, crafts, and flowers at every stand. This market has turned the town for the better and gives me something fun to do every saturday. I enjoy the live entertainemnt, 50/50 raffle, and socializing with friends!

I came from Maryland to go to the Farmers Market over 4th of July. Great variety of goods, crafts, and produce.

We love going to the farmers market on Saturday with the family. We enjoy buying fresh produce and fish. We also enjoy all the vendors that come.

The vendors are awesome! From Fruits and Veggies to crafts and antiques. The have a 50/50 that enables everyone to benefit from the winnings. The local bands and dj is wonderful. I have purchased so much stuff from the market. I have things that my friends in Metamora cannot find any place else. The market is so organized and fun!

My best friend's family has welcomed me and taken me in as their own since I started vacationing in Port Austin with them about 8 years ago - found out just 4 years ago, my Grandmother grew up there as well! I love Port Austin as if I, myself, grew up there - my roots have been firmly planted. But my philosophical roots are not nearly as tasty nor as beautiful as what you will find at the Farmer's Market in Port Austin - that is where you will find a quintessential example of the roots of America!

It is a wonderful well organized market that has a wide array of items from produce to arts and crafts. John and Lisa do a wonderful job making sure all is run smoothly! Thanks to them and all their volunteers that make this market so Grand!

The market is well layed out and has a great selection of baked goods, fresh and smoked fish, locally grown produce, along with alot of interesting pieces from local artisans.
