We often fill up 4 large bags with yummy fresh organic veggies for under $30! There are animals and lots of fun activities for kids on the historic farm.

It's right off the freeway, and you can hit it on your way home if you work in the Silicon Valley and live in the East Bay.

I love the assortment of lettuce that farmer Joe grows. The carrots are AWESOME.

It's quite easy to do all your produce shopping there because the farm supplements its produce with that of other farms.

Be sure that you adhere to the produce stand's hours; otherwise, you'll be disappointed. I have it easy because I live in Newark and can actually walk there. :)

I stop by this farmstand to buy produce after work since I work at a nearby building. This is a really convenient place to shop. It's never too crowded, and I can go here any day of the week (not have to wait for the weekly farmers market). The produce, especially in late summer, is fresh-picked, high-quality and has good variety (especially the tomatoes). Most items sold are grown on the farm itself or brought in from other local farms. Many of the items are organic, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. The people at the farm are always friendly and helpful. One time, when I asked if they had some mint (and it wasn't out in the store), the farmer went out to the field and picked me a bunch of fresh mint. I love supporting this farm when I can during the months the store is open.
