The people are wonderful, the desserts are sweet, the produce is nutritious and fresh and the bread is savory!

This long-running markey was the first in Chatham County and for many years has been the place to get locally grown products directly from the growers. Great selection and wonderful people who are your neighbors. What more could I ask for? Two thumbs up!

The Pittsboro Farmers Market is not just a place to get locally grown produce and homemade goodies, it is a weekly event. The sense of community I get from seeing my neighbors, visiting with vendors and shopping at the Pittsboro Farmers Market is remarkable.

There is nothing better than fresh home-grown produce, and I look forward every summer to the opening of PFM. There I can get REAL tomatoes, lettuce, berries, and so much else...not the plastic fruits and vegetables offered in grocery stores. I like the opportunity to buy locally and support our farmers. The atmosphere at PFM is wonderful, communal, and even exciting! I enjoy talking with the different vendors, and always look forward to seeing each one...such different personalities and such warm and delightful people. Jams and jellies, flowers, breads, Ruby's famous pies..I could go on and on. My family looks forward to the incredible salad I always make after visiting PFM, and try to guess what wonderful lettuce I've brought home. I can NEVER leave without Celebrity Farm's goat cheese; one of my favorite things! I love the size of PFM, the community feeling, familiar faces, the location....absolutely EVERYTHING. I've been to other Farmers' Markets, but I think Pittsboro Farmers' Market is the best!
