It has a great variety of produce, products, people and helps us be a healither community as we shop locally and support our neighbors at the same time.

I love the variety at my Bardstown Farmer's Market. Flowers, fresh fruit and vegetables, bison and a variety of meat products and eggs, bluegrass entertainers and eat in breakfasts, or just good coffee and bakery goods. It's like a Village and you see old friends there every week.

I love being able to have a relationship with the people who grow my food. It's a real farmer's market, doesn't have a bunch of crafts or shipped-in foods. All local.

Bardstown is a small community. Our Farmer's Market gives us a place to connect and to support local farmers and families. Our town has fought the Walmart-ization for a long time, and our Farmer's Market is one of the last holdouts. On Friday evenings, the space is used for local bands to play, allowing for more community connectedness.

i enjoy the friendliness of all the vendors and getting to know who planted, tended and harvested our food. it is a great experience learning new types of foods and how to cook them. alot of these vegetables and or other meats are not carried at mainstream stores. the market and farmers there always try to bring diversity of foodstuffs.

Our family loves to visit the Bardstown Famers Market together on Saturday mornings. Thay have the freshest produce compared to other farm markets. Since they offer meat, eggs, and cheese also we don't have to go to the grocery store as much. It's nice to know we're helping out local farmers and vendors rather than the big chain stores.
