This is the place to be.!!!

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! If anyone is looking to do a C.S.A. (community-supported agriculture) this year, this is your place to go (Arlington and surrounding area) amazing everything. All organic and local to Washington (fruit comes from east-side of mountains and produce from Arlington). Amazing husband and wife farm team plus their amazing farm employees. No better way to support our local farmers and eat healthy at the sometime. This is our third year coming here!! Absolutely amazing people and produce. We feed anywhere from 5-10 people on any given night durring the summer (we are a family of 4 but always have people over). We do full share of produce and a full share of fruit. We use just about everything every week and anything we done use I freeze for sometime later in the year. I really can't say enough about this farm they are truly amazing people and amazing at what they do.

I checked out this Arlington grower/produce stand today after finding it on this site this morning.

I was pleased to find a great assortment for the time of year...Was offered delicious samples..yumm...and was helped by the owner who was very nice~!

I can't wait to check out the nursery when I have time..and maybe do a picking tour.

I will definitely be going back weekly!!

Educational Farm Experience for Kids!
By: tamila morgan    (Feb 3, 2009)

Our family has been involved with Garden Treasures for the past three years. My kids enjoy chasing their chickens and wandering the paths through the vegetable fields. Many times Mark will take time out of his busy schedule and show the kids (ok, teach, but don't tell them that), different varieties of heirloom produce or point out the big old tree that has sat on the property for decades. We look forward to the growing season and stopping by every week to pick up our CSA and really just "hanging out" on the farm. This is such a unique experience for both adults and children to actually obtain a "hands on" connection to an organic working farm. We highly recommend Garden Treasures not only for the produce and plants, but for a deeper opportunity to learn where our food actually comes from.

I have belonged to three CSA's and this is the best I have ever belonged to. I have purchased a full share for my family plus 2 fruit shares and am so satisfied. I couldn't be happier. Sometimes Mark, the owner thows in a bonus. I rarely go into a reg. store. Whenever I have a question about what something is or how to use something I am given the answer and many options for uses. They never make me feel dumb. Every week we receive a news letter that contains a recipe and update on the progress on the farm. They make me like I am part of this farm. The produce is always fresh and top quality. If we can't use something due to allergies or family preference we are allowed to choose something else. I have never been dissappointed. They also have a farm store in case we want to do extra shopping.

Very nice people!
By: Kris Gordon    (Jun 8, 2008)

I first called Garden Treasures to see if they had the things I was looking for. They were very nice and polite; answering all of my questions.

When I visited the Garden Treasures I was greeted and offered assistance. It can be hard to find this even at a business with many employees. I found it very personable.

After leaving I had wished I had gotten the young man and womans names who helped me. She walked through and showed me where everything I wanted was located. She shared information freely and gave lots of advice. When I wanted a whole flat of strawberry starts she sorted through and chose the best to make my flat.

Every question I had was answered; planting times; growth speed; seed depth and spacing. She readily shared a wealth of information. Someone willing to share knowledge so freely is sometimes hard to come by now-a-days.

When there were no more packaged carrot seeds on the shelf, the young man offered two different kinds and then packaged them up for me. The young woman then helped me carry my purchases to the car.

I know I will go back again. They have a large variety of things to choose from and you can't beat the customer service!
