This market has steadily grown over the 4 years I have worked for my CSA share, and the prices are reasonable. Vegetables from arugula to zucchini, herbs, fruits from apples to raspberries, plants and cut flowers are available in season, as well as eggs, cheese, sausage and beef. Add in baked goods, honey, homemade soap and lotions, ice cream, preserves, various krauts, pickles and relishes and one can fix a great meal solely from the market. Plus getting to know the growers/producers is an added plus for me. Visit this market often when you're in the area; you won't be disappointed!

It's great, I don't have a place to raise my own garden. I can go there and buy what I need to can up for winter. They have great prices. The people are so nice and if they don't have what you need they point to where they do have it. The best thing to happen to Frankfort!! Thanks alot!

Great variety, friendly people, pioneering a token-based pay system that enables visitors to use their credit or debit cards, convenient parking, lots of recipes and information about food preparation as well as tips on growing your own garden - the Farmers Market is a vital community resource!

Frankfort's indipendent farmers are made of the same stuff as our forefathers who built and fed this country for over 200 years. How could I not support this type of American spirit!

How can we not support our local farmers. The fresh fruits and vegetables are so much better than what you can get at the supermarket. Who knows where they came from and what preservatives are on them. We have an awesome Farmer's Market here in Frankfort!

frankfort is a pretty small town for a state capital. the fact that we even had a farmers market kind of surprised me when i moved here from san francisco, where we had the mother of all farmers markets. however, despite the smallness of frankfort, the farmers market here is quite wonderful and deserving of support.
