I look forward to this weekly event as an opportunity to support local farmers and crafts people. The market has grown over the 3 years that I've been attending; it's easy to see that Westford residents really try to get to the market to pick up their favorite foods. I love the Fiori Pasta & Pasta Sauces, Golden Girl cookies, Westriver Creamery cheeses and sausages, Dragonfly farm produce, Biscuit breads and Hill Orchard fruit. Thanks for keeping this farmers market alive!

My daughter and I have been attending the Westford Farmers Market for a few years together- she is 6. She is learning about making good food choices and we are spending wonderful afternoons together in the sun eating locally grown food. We see friends, I network with people, and we are honoring the seasons together and are helping to support our local economy AND do good things for the earth. It is one of the best things we do together as a mother and daughter and it's a highlight of every week. Kudos to all of the farmers and vendors who bring their items and their message to Westford Common every week!

Locally grown, always something new every week, selective on participants, supports local farmers, educates children on the importance of buying local and understanding where there food comes from.

Westford Farmers Market is a great market! There is a strong set of regular vendors that can be found there each week. They provide a very nice variety of locally grown, raised and/or produced products. Each week you can also learn something new at the Education Station, bring home a handmade craft from local artisans and feed your soul with the music and entertainment provided at the market. I think that this market is a wonderful asset in the Westford community!! I can't wait 'til Tuesday to buy my fresh veggies and my sticky bun!!

It not only has well-grown local produce, but also has local meats and cheeses. Delicious! The best part, however, is the winter program series. Fascinating, informative and fun! We loved them all and hope they will do them again this winter. Thank you Westford!

Quality of life for me and those I know and love. For those who I do not know. For our kids and their kids.... Building a nicer and more gentle society, caring and connecting with each other and a making a place we call home. Fresh, nutritious, saving natural resources - this is a the best part of the market. (and it is simply the best!) That's why I support it!

Fresh. Local. Heirloom. Access to varieties I won't find in the grocery store because they don't ship well. And in light of some of the recent food safety problems (tomatoes, pistachios, raspberries from Mexico, etc.) I also like knowing who grew my food and how.

The Westford Market provides a great variety of local produce, many sustainably grown, fresh caught fish, handmade cheeses, bakery goods, pasta, etc. The variety is wonderful and it helps the local farms as well as local businesses that make homemade items using local products and keeps them in business. It is a great community gathering to meet old friends and make new ones. The kids love going to see everything fresh and picking it out themselves.

Farm stands and farmers markets are my weakness! Even after I harvest veggies from my garden I go to the market. I love going to the market and coming home with the ingredients for a local supper. Last week I came home with farm-fresh eggs and produce and cheese to add to my lettuce and baby greens from the garden. Dinner was a frittata and a salad of mixed of garden lettuces, tender herbs and baby greens, with crumbled farmstead cheese, berries, and raw baby peas.

A step back to a simpler time when food was purchased from those who grew, raised, harvested, or made it. Yes, it costs more, but just like premium gas costing more than regular, I think my body (and my family's) is worth it! Such a small price to pay......

Fabulous local resource for organic veggies, artisan foods and sustainably farmed meats. The market makes it easy to eat well and contribute to a healthy local economy while protecting the environment that sustains us all. Organizers add a dose of fun and entertainment every week which makes visiting the market festive rather than routine and the event provides the community with a gathering spot to stay in touch over the course of the summer months. It is a wonderful use of our beautiful town common.

Absolutely the best farmers around! Friendly and helpful, each one takes extra care to provide the freshest produce and all employ environmentally friendly farm techniques. I feed my family with a peaceful conscious because of this market -- not to mention keeping it local!

The food is deliciious and so fresh! I prefer to support local farmers as much as possible. My children get a chance to learn from farmers, too. Last summer, they learned all about the bee problem we have been experiencing for the past few years.

I can find an excellent variety of produce, meat, fish, eggs and cheese at the Westford market. When it's open get the bulk of my food there. I love the community spirit you feel when you go.

How wonderful to be able to walk to the Town Common and get fresh picked produce! I want to support our local growers -- not the agri-businesses who care only about preserving their profit margins -- and I like the idea of putting together a meal based on what is fresh at the market.
