It is close to my home in Mountain Ranch. What I can't or don't grow in my vegetable garden, I'll find there and it will be organic. The Sierra foothills are difficult for home gardeners. Hot summers, cold and occasionally snowy winters, late spring frosts plus soil that is rocky and depleted, make gardening a real chalange! Local farmwers work their hearts out and deserve all the help they can receive. The fruits and vegetables grown here just taste better! Jackie Richmond
