The people are so nice and down to earth; their produce is very fresh- they apologize if it was picked the day before. The prices are also amazingly resonable.

The produce is local and we need to support our local economy! You don't know where the produce in these stores has come from.

I like visiting with and supporting the local farmers and enjoy the fresh products they provide. I also appreciate being able to buy pesticide free produce, offered by some, and grass-fed,hormone-free beef/pork.

Great local products always available, such as produce, meats, plants, cut flowers, eggs, coffee, soaps and homemade salsa, spreads, and baked goods. They also provide samples and food prepared with all ingredients. Often there is music to entertain you as you shop and socialize. GREAT Saturday morning outing.

Our downtown is a dying place but when we have our farmers market it comes alive! We have the nicest venders and I look so forward to seeing them, buying from them especially the beautiful flowers grown in our county, the heirloom tomatoes that I am sure I have eaten my weight in this summer and also the wonderful farm raised meats. I trade recipes with them and they are always so eager to share ideas, etc. We truly have had success in getting people out each Sat. and Wed. mornings to buy. This is only the second year for this market and they all are working so hard to make it better for us all and for the town itself.
You should come see it in full swing!

Local farmers take great pride in offering their very best fruits, vegetables, eggs, meats, and other commodities. They grow what they sell, build trust with their customers, and often culitvate lifelong frinds.
