Pacifica Farmers Market has added another social dimension to our lovely little town. Especially love the roasted chicken and potatoes!

Fresh! Friendly!! Flowers!!! Organic!!!! All locally grown and and pleasure for the soul, the eye and a delightful outdoor meeting place

More people need to eat organic and, locally if they can, then they will understand why pesticide free products are so important for a healthy body and mind. The body has a chance to function w/o poisons and the mind becomes clearer.

Fresh locally grown produce is healthy, affordable, and available. I love seeing friends these Coastside Farmers Markets.

It's small, yet diverse with great local produce; most people know each other and it has a real community feel.

The markets fill a very important role for Coastside communities since there are very few shopping choices particularly in the organic selection. It also really makes a stronger community because of the size of the towns, it's really neighbor to neighbor and a great way we connect possitively as a community .

The market is the best place in the world to be on a Saturday - great music, friends and family, wonderful art, and abundance from so many local farmers that it's almost beyond understanding. The food is gorgeous, and sustains me easily through my week. The Farmers Market is a great supporter of our community, through its non-profit booths, support for local farming and locally made goods, for children (through the HEAL project) and through support of our local arts community.

They're terrific! Great produce, great music, great spots for community organizations to make connections.

It truly is a "local" market. It brings the community together for fresh, local, seasonal food grown by real farmers. It is a welcoming market with music and a friendliness that is a rarity these days.

The produce is fabulous, the vendors are wonderful, and the whole community turns out!

Erin's amazing and amusing field notes get us all excited about what we might do with the wonderful produce on hand. One day I hope to live up to the standards she sets for entertaining and nurturing friends and family around the table. The market is a great place to bump into friends, stock up for the week and feel like a part of the community. From the fresh fruits and veggies to the oils and baked goods and the crafts and music - there is something for everyone (always leave with flowers too - I say!)

I love living and working near both the Pacifica and the Half Moon Bay markets-I can have fresh local produce all week long! The markets are always a great place to get food and to enjoy music, see friends, and the big bonus is Erin's newsletter.

The Coastside Farmers' Market in HMB is a great place to buy fabulous produce and crafts from our local purveyors, and we also get to visit with our friends and neighbors as we shop! It is a great way to start the weekend and stay connected within our community.

This is a great asset to both communities. Not only do you get fresh terrific fruit and veggies, but you can talk to the grower and get an idea what it takes to grow the food you are eating. And it's fun too!

we buy all our fruits and vegetables here for the week plus homemade breads, and other goodies, it is fantastic! these are local farmers and everything is fresh, organic and delicious!

They bring the freshness to our dinners that is lacking from the local big chains!

Percentage of organic local farmers is very high, quality superb, and prices reasonable. Season lasts from May thru Dec! Organizer is doing a great job.

The Coastside Markets always have a nice variety of veggies and fruit. They also have other organic foods. The people that bring their priducts are oh so nice. The atmosphere is wonderful. One visit to the market and you are hooked.

The small town flavors are key. Both markets are a place for people to select wonderful produce, fruits, breads, and other fantastic foods all in one place and even can taste before they buy. We get to see our friends and visit about the things that are important to us. The farmers even share recipes with their customers. Our markets are wonderful. Thank you

It's more important than ever to eat locally, and with many of the farmers right down the road, the Half Moon Bay farmer's market really empowers our community to reduce greenhouse gases and support our local economy. Although the market is not as big as others in the Bay Area, we still have an excellent selection of organic foods, which is critical. The smaller market and live music make it a wonderful place for kids.

I love seeing all the local farmers and their families each week and people from up and down the coast all in the same place for a while!

After seeing a couple of movies about the politics of food and doing some reading on the subject, I am definitely going organic and I appreciate my local farmers who have known more than I have for a long time!
