Only Local. Great Organizers. Wonderful Volunteers. Superb Vendors. All in the most wonderful little town in the entire NC Piedmont. We love the Davidson Market, Davidson College, all of the other local businesses and the many special events the town hosts!

I can ride my bike to it, let the kids play at the "tot lot", grab a cuppa joe at Summit (the local coffee shop), hear talented local musicians while perusing the produce, baked goods, and other offerings, and often end the morning checking out a festival or other event across the street at the green. A quick detour on the bike through the college campus as we leave tops off the day. It's friendly, local, "one-stop" shopping and entertainment!

The market is a refreshing welcome to our community.It helps to make this town even more green.It is wonderful to support local farmers.Great veggies very friendly

They have the nicest vendors, and a surprising variety of vendors. Most share salmples - a great way to get business. Centrally located.

my husband is a private club manager and qualified chef and he knows the value of eating fresh for the best nutrients and flavor. we shop the market weekly and enjoy the towns business's that open for us. we have made new friends with the vendors and exchange cooking and prep ideas and learn what they do to ready for market. davidson should be proud of the market and continue to back this concept.

I eat all local foods and the Davidson Farmer's Market provides me with everything I need to live a healthy and sustainable life. The farmers are friendly and the market has blossomed. It is a young market, but it has a huge following.

It has an amazing selection and is very well organized- the opposite of the farmers market where I live.

Well worth the drive from Statesville!! Haven't had beef this good since we bought from the Bargers many years ago.( We lived a lot closer then) Wonderful to shop the "slow food way"

It is a community gathering at its best--wonderful fresh produce, good variety, sometimes music, beautiful flowers, and friendly vendors in a good location.

I get soap, tomatoes, cabbage, peppers & get ideas there! I also enjoy jamming with The LKN Jam there once a month! Bill Williams the honey vendor has the cutest RED BEES as an attraction - don't worry they are harmless. Mr. Williams is 82 years YOUNG!

Fresh, locally grown vegetables and locally raised meat products are what I like to serve. My family appreciates them. I buy some things to can, to be enjoyed during the winter months.

Fantastick Vendors!! Last Sat. I went to every booth,to meet the people who are there, & I was so impressed with everyone. Many people committed to fresh, local, nutritious food, & such variety. Nice infrastructure, & great music, & lots of goodies to sample!!

It's great to have local, fresh food available so conveniently. The downtown is a livelier place on Saturday mornings now.

It has such a sense of community. You can never go there without running into all of your neighbors. They also have music weekly, a playground nearby for the kids, gluten-free baked goods for my husband, and a wide variety of organic goods.

Our local growers are friendly and helpful- we learn something new every time we go to the farmer's market. The Davidson farmer's market is awesome!

The Davidson Farmers Market is so much more than fruits and vegetables. I take the kids and spend the whole morning: we listen to terrific local musicians, enjoy coffee and snow cones, and say hi to friends. We love the chance to buy local meat and dairy products also. The Davidson Farmers Market is not just a destination, it's an adventure!

Davidson has great farmers market because all the items are totally local, home grown, with a huge selection or organically grown produce and meats. Having the meats is a huge plus. You can put a completely organic and local meal on your table with fresh flowers on the table to boot! (even dessert!) The community is in total support of the market and its in the center of town.

Local food ranging from oregano to ostrich meat. Farmers are friendly, informative, and have become familiar faces. I can experience the old-time health of foods harvested that morning.

Davidson Farmer's Market only has locally grown and produced vegetables, meat and eggs - no shipped in or trucked in produce. It supports our small farmers in a largely urbanized area and deserves support!

Early Saturday morning at the Farmers Market is dreamy. The tomatoes, the lavender, the eggs, Big Jim's homemade breads! The vibe is altogether great. And live music, too!

Best produce and baked goods and flowers around. It was a home grown idea for home grown/produced goods that took off faster than anyone imagined. It is always nice to see the smiling faces of vendors and shoppers at the market.

Because our farmers aren't all about competing with each other. They are about creating local, sustainable partnerships to encourage the consumption of local, sustainable (and delicious!) food.

I love all the fresh organic vegetables. The fact that all the produce and fresh meats and chickens are from local farms is a definite plus.

The Freshest Foods straight from the farm!!!! Not only do the growers know their crops, but they also know how to cook and prepare them. I bought the BEST Mozzerella at the market two weeks ago and am going back tomorrow to buy more. YUM !
