I only went once, but wouldn't plan on going back based on that visit. My favorite orchid vendor was there, but the food items were definitely lacking in variety. There was only one produce vendor. Though his prices were good, it was obvious that he shipped in the produce from elsewhere, ruining the whole point of trying to buy local. There was a lady selling handmade pastas that were amazing, but very expensive. Everyone else (maybe 8 booths) was craft or hot food vendors, much like you would find at a craft and art show. After a 20-30 minute drive, my kids and I perused the entire market in less than 10 minutes. Disappointing at best.
It won't let me select how many stars for some reason... I give it 1-2 stars only.

Although it's close to where I live, it's too expensive compared to some of the other markets. The oranges are twice the price per five pound bag than what you can get at Market of Marion.
And the area is too small to have any variety or even competition.

I'm handicapped, wheelchair bound, and this market is close to home and on a paved surface. Everything I have purchased there has been first rate. I think I'm adicted.

For bringing the freshness into the community and to help our local farmer's in such a tough economy. Let the small man prosper for once instead of big enterprise who don't care about the environment or the community in which we live. Eat healthy by becoming vegetarian - the animals and the environmnt will love you for it.
