Great Market. Good selection of fruits and vegetables in season. Citrus is just coming in and they have it all!

I feel that it is important to support local farmers. Their produce is fresh which is better then produce that has been picked before it is ripe.

The farmers are very local, one a couple of blocks away and the other's farm is just a few miles away. They demonstrate a love for farming, and sharing excellent produce picked the very same day. People flock to their market for food and visiting with friends. The cajun accent and French is common. So not only do you get excellent fresh vegetables but also a good slice of a historical culture that is alive and thriving!
