It's more than just a Farmers Market, it is a place where neighbors meet and talk. Its a place that really brings the community together.

It's the closest market to where I live (always a plus!) -- but more than that, I love that it's in a historic place, continuing the long tradition of markets at the Headhouse. And both the vendors and their food are wonderful!

The biggest area farmers market is also its best. Not only is there a gratifying diversity of foodstuffs on parade, but the farmers can actually answer specific questions about their wares. Bonus: It might be the only marketplace in Philadelphia where the vendors are never, ever cranky. And just last week, the market's farmers agreed to move their tables back a few feet to give visitors like me more room to maneuver the oft-congested central aisle.

It has brought the most welcome change to our neighborhood in years! It's great to see your friends every Sunday and is open from May to December. We love it.

It's an awesome market in purportedly the longest running farmer's market facility in the country. Two dozen vendors ranging from free range poultry to grass fed beef to goat cheese and heirloom produce

The best of the season foods, locally grown or made with the of sellers. Also, it is run by some of the best and nicest people you could meet. I love going to this market every Sunday.

Headhouse Market does an incredible job of incorporating vendors to answer every need: baked goods, meat & poultry, produce, dairy, wine, maple syrup, honey, chocolate sweet treats, and dog food! The vendors are knowledgeable, and delightful to chat with. Nothing in this city beats Headhouse!

Because Three Springs Fruit Farm and Weavers Way have the best produce! There is always something new every week. The cheese and herb vendors are wonderful. And the wine vendor is fantastic! Where else can you get wine at a farmers' market? FARMERS ROCK!

Headhouse Market is filled with amazing local vendors who are truly passionate about what they do/grow/bake/make and sharing it with the Philadelphia community. I look forward to the walk over to Headhouse Market every weekend, as I often fill my bag with new delicious finds and leave with inspired culinary thoughts!

The farmers market re-opened only 3 years ago in the historic Headhouse Shambles, which was an open air market in Philadelphia for centuries!

It is a true example of "farm to table"; It is beautiful, historical, and a unifying force for the city neighborhood that surround it. It is the favorite weekend experience, not just for us, but also for out Terrier, Peanut. She starts to get "ready" first thing Sunday morning - so do we!!!
