This is my third year coming here. Wouldn't miss it for the world. Ask a question and you learn everything these master gardeners know! Plus a tour of the greenhouse and a taste of their wonderful blueberry tea. Also other bb yummies available. Come early. Just lasts a month, and the berries are gone.

Two of us gals enjoyed all the info provided by this interesting group of people. Looking forward to the 28" green beans to come. Learned about galangal, special Thai ingredient. Thank you for sending up the Sky Lantern while we were there. And the Key Lime ice cream was just the perfect mix of sweet, sour and creamy. YUM! I look forward to picking some blueberries next season and having a double scoop of the ice cream.

I think this year was the best ever for Green Meadows Farm's yummy blueberries! So good! The owners are such sweet, caring people. If you live in the area and have not been yet, please don't miss it! I start thinking about Green Meadows every single spring around March and get super excited wondering how the berries will be this year. Each plant's berries taste different, and part of the fun is searching for the best one. Take your friends & family and in an hour or two you'll pick lots of berries, if you can keep from eating them before they hit the bucket! :)

This was my first year to harvest berries at Green Meadows Farm. The berries were plentiful and beautiful. They put the blue in my red, white, and blue dessert for the 4th of July. The best part of my experience was the wonderful service. After managing to step in an ant bed since my attention was focused on the berries, Mr. Green brought me some aloe to soothe the bites and a nice big cup of cold blueberry lemonade. A++ I would highly recommend Green Meadows Farm!

Of COURSE I came back this year, tried last week and the crazy thunderstorms sent us home, much to our chagrin. I went today and had a blast, picked 2.5 pounds, and every bite eaten in the car after was delish! Also bought some amazing AMAZING wild Cherry Tomatoes and they are the sweetest, most flavorful tomatoes I have ever eaten. YUM! HIGHLY recommend this delightful farm and its sweet owners. Such a fun morning. See ya next year for sure!

I am so grateful to have this beautiful farm down the road from my house! The blueberries are absolutely amazing, the farm is beautiful and Mr. and Mrs. Green are the nicest people I have ever met. They just make the experience that much more enjoyable!! This has definitely become a weekend tradition with my husband in the summer to pick blueberries while they last. There is nothing better than waking up, going and picking fresh blueberries, enjoying the company of Mr. and Mrs. Green, eating one of their delicious blueberry cinnamon rolls with a glass of blueberry lemonade and then topping it off with their homemade blueberry ice cream. I could continue on forever about how great this place is! Thank you for such a great place to spend on Saturday mornings!

This was my second year visiting, but my 5th trip to the farm (including last year's farm tour). I love it! I've gone with friends, I've taken my family, and I've even done a relaxing early morning picking session on my own. The trip out from Tallahassee is a beautiful ride. The farm is on gorgeous land with rolling hills. The owners are the nicest people you could ever meet. This place makes me wish every day was blueberry season! Oh, and the blueberry icecream? To die for!!

And loads of fun. We headed out early and took advantage of the cool morning hours - farm opens at 7:30. Had a great time picking blueberries; sampling the delicious products offered. Fun way to spend the morning and end up with loads of wonderful blueberries (as well as other produce) for all your favorite recipes. We will go again!

Visited Green Meadows Farm for my very first time on Sunday, June 5th. I arrived a little bit early before opening but still got the star treatment from Mr. Green. He explained the best way to pick blueberries, where to start, and that they promised not to weigh me before I started picking or after. I really enjoyed myself. Spent about an hour picking (nearly 8 lbs of blueberries) and enjoyed the experience not only because it was a new one but the farm is surrounded by nature and I could hear all kinds of sounds (even roosters waking up their neighbors). When I was finished I purchased a cinnamon bun for the ride home and WOW was that fantastic.

Thank you for such a wonderful first time experience. I can't wait to come back!!! :)

This is the second year in a row that we have picked blueberries here and we plan to make it a family tradition. We can stock up on organic blueberries at a great price (for jam, freeze for smoothies, and this year we made blueberry ice cream using the recipe Delores provided, it was incredible) while having fun as a family. The Greens are so kind and helpful too.

This is my second year visiting the blueberry farm. My family and I have the best time picking and stashing up our blueberry supply for the year. The blueberries are delicious, the picking is easy and the farm owners are as nice as can possibly be...so warm and welcoming and gracious. Thank you Green Meadows Farm. Check out even more about my family's visit and how we love the farm on our site, TallyConenction.com. Here's the link to the recent post about Green Meadows which we did. We're also happily advertising for them free of charge!

2011's opening weekend was our 3rd visit to Green Meadows Farm and every visit has been wonderful! This year, we went home with 10 lbs of blueberries and a few blueberry cinnamon rolls! Each year, the Green's have added something new to their farm to make it even more inviting. As we picked, we could hear a neighboring rooster welcome the morning. It is such a peaceful place! Lots and lots of ripe blueberries! My husband never left the first bush he started and picked tons of berries! The kids and I like to pick from a bunch of different bushes and there are plenty to choose from! Mr. and Mrs. Green are absolutely delightful and willing to fill you in on all the goings on at the farm from the Purple Martin birds to new blueberry recipes. I have been to many of the blueberry u-pick places around Tallahassee and Green Meadows Farm is by far the BEST!! Happy picking!

I wanted to show my 5 and 7 year old daughters where our food actually comes from and we heard about Green Meadows through a friend. It was such a wonderful experience! The blueberries were easy to pick and very abundant (and delicious right off the bush since they are organic!). The Greens gave us a tour of their greenhouse, let my girls feed their fish (which they loved) and even gave us samples of their delicious homemade blueberry- lemonade-iced tea. What a fun and rewarding experience and we went home with over 5 lbs of blueberries! We will definitely be back for the next harvest!

What a treat! Myself and several relatives picked blueberries at the Green Meadows Farm and had a blast. But not only did we have fun, the blueberries are the best I've ever had. The family is so nice and their property is welcoming and beautiful, and the blueberries are so good that it's hard not to eat yourself sick while picking. This was my second year visiting the great farm and I'm already thinking about next year's visits. Thanks so much Green Meadow Farms for providing this wonderful fruit to us.

These blueberries were by far the best i have had! They are plump and delectable. The people are very hospitable and grow their blueberries to perfection. They even offer other great amenities such as eggplant, carrion flowers and recipes for all. I will definitely frequent this farm for as long as possible, keep up the deliciously healthy work!

Our whole family went out last weekend to Green Meadows Farm to pick organic blueberries and we had the greatest time. Ronny and Delores were wonderful to talk to and made us all feel very comfortable to be at their farm/home. Their Blueberries are THE BEST, and there are several varieties of blueberries to pick. This was definitely one of the BEST Family experiences that we have had in the beautiful city of Monticello. I wholeheartedly endorse Green Meadows Farm, you just can't get any better than this.

We happened upon the farm while visiting my parents who live down the street. We had a BLAST, and ate half the berries, warm and fresh right from the bag en route to my folks house (2 blocks away!) Beautiful berries, nice people, good parking, we will be back hopefully on July4th!

I brought my whole family picking on a lark on a Sunday night. It was, by far, the best U-Pick experience we've ever had. Green Meadows farm is beautiful, so nicely kept and so obviously loved. And the berries were some of the sweetest and prettiest we've seen this year. The picking was easy and Delores was incredibly friendly and kind. We ran around a bit in the field just beyond the parking lot before driving home, enjoying the fading light and the song of the cicadas, and we're looking forward to catching the last of the season next weekend, then coming back next year.

My daughter and I picked blueberries twice this season. Both times the blueberries were abundant and we had a great time. Delores and Ron are excellent hosts. Ron gave us a tour of the amazing greenhouse he built where they grow organic fruits and vegetables. Delores' fresh blueberry lemonade tea was a nice refreshment to have after we were done picking berries. I have picked a total of 14 pounds this year and have canned lots of blueberry jam and froze the rest for use during the year. I will definitely make this an annual event.

Friendly, homespun, charm, added to nickel and dime sized organic blueberries in abundance, equals an incredible, you simply must repeat it, experience.

We took our 4 grandchildren to pick this year for the first time. Although is was about 90 some degrees, they had such a good time. Everyone had a bucket or bag and picked until they were tired. Delores and Ron were wonderful hosts. We will go again next year for sure.

Thank you so much for the wonderful berries this year! We had fun picking and have been eating them and making all kinds of delicious dishes with them. I've never tasted blueberries as perfect as the ones we have gotten from Green Meadows the past three years we've visited. We were anticipating them for several months this year, and they were everything we hoped for and more!

The blueberries were big and juicy, very abundant, a perfect balance of tart and sweet, and well beyond the quality of any berries I have found in stores. Picking them is half the fun, and I saw several families with young children who were enjoying themselves. The farm is a beautiful place to spend the early evening, especially after a day at work. The owners are nice people who always make you feel welcome and offer plants, other produce, and even some baked goodies for sale so you can get ideas for what to do with all the blueberries you pick. And if you still have some left over, they freeze amazingly well and taste just and fabulous when thawed for pancakes, muffins, milkshakes, anything you can imagine!

Our family and friends have enjoyed the Green's blue berries for years. Delores and Ronny provide a wonderful environment and enjoyable time for all customers. Great hospitality and assistance as needed. Early morning and late evening are the best times to pick, and the picking is always easy. these berries are safe to eat right off the bush. Yum! Yum! Our freezer always has as a supply for healthy cooking and eating. We love blue berry cobbler! Thank you, Delores and Ronny and thank God for his bounty.

When I found out this was a USDA certified bluebetry farm I was excited as I am afraid of the chemicals used in most farms. When we arrived the berries were very sweet and the family that runs the farm makes you feel like you are family. It was a wonderful experience that we will do again this year.

A short ride from Tallahassee, the picking was fun and the blueberries were excellent. The bushes are spaced for easy picking and the farm was clean and safe. Great for children. My three year old granddaughter loved it and picked a Father's Day present for her Dad. My wife and I always pick enough for a year. They freeze well. We will be back next year.

I think I was the last customer this year for the blueberries. I thawed my frozen berries and used them for cobblers and pancakes and they were wonderful!! The ride to Green Meadows Farm is as lovely as the people you meet there. A wonderful family experience that I highly recommend. B.Stoutamire Monticello, FL
