I read the reviews and went with my child on a Friday. The vendors are both people from the community and Amish selling mainly fruits and vegetables. A few plant and baked goods also. You can buy a quart of beef steak tomatoes for $4.50. There was a big turn of people looking for local produce for a reasonable price. I loved it!

Local produce, heart of downtown - all within walking distance for many residents! Always excellent!

Our farmer's market keeps getting bigger and better. Last year the farmer's market was on Friday mornings (8 - 2:00 p.m.) This year we not only have the market on Friday, but have expanded to Tuesday afternoons (2 - 6). Local growers and Amish bring plants, produce, cheese, and Amish baked goods. It is a big attraction for Big Rapids.
