Because its bringing back together a community pulled apart by the negligence of the nation at large. It will be our saving grace because we'll know each other is there and engage through trade and homegrown products. THAT is the rekindling of the American Spirit.

Includes more - artisans, dairy products, and entertainment, and it is more accessible to the public: runs from 3-7, daily, instead of 7AM on Fridays and many farmer's accept EBT and food vouchers from low-income folks.

It's great that after many years Fitchburg Farmers' Market is starting back up again. What's great is that they are expanding it to include locally made products, rather than just produce. The focus on revitliasing the local economy through this is fantastic.

I support the Farmers Market because there is nothing like growing and eating local produced foods. It is wonderful for the city and for the main street. Bring back the vitality to Fitchburg. The potential is there, it just takes people pushing it in the right direction.

Local food is where it's at, and the organizers and the community are so passionate about this event.

I support the market because I know how important it is to eat healthy, and also to support local farmers and growers. Eating local is better for the environment, and I can control where my money goes. Plus, I love having a vibrant market in downtown, just a minutes walk from Main Street.
