The farmer's Market in Lowell MA is an incredible way to support our community. As a resident of Lowell buying food that has been shipped here from overseas is not a sustainable, seasonal or local way to support our local environment. This is great for people who are not only live life purposely in the way that they nurture their bodies or those they love but it is highly recommended for those of you who know the power of the consumer. By buying produce from this farmers market and reminding our local supermarket heads that they should support their local farmers and counterparts we will truly make a difference not only locally but globally. The Lowell Farmer's Market brings old fashion values to an area that could really use it. Bringing along with it simply just real food, without all of the toxins that we would if we ate the foods that traveled so many miles to get our local Demoulas Market Basket and then to our dinner plates. I highly recommend it for everyone. It is worth a trip to Lowell if you're not a local.

The Lowell Outdoor Farmers Market supports an urban population, bringing fresh locally grown produce right to the front steps of City Hall.

with the population of this city we can certainly use a farmer's market and would love it to be bigger. lots of local farms could use it

Farmers work hard and while the local supermarkets get their produce out of country, I still have to wonder why they won't support the local farmers. I prefer natural & organic foods (I'm a vegetarian). These farmers work hard and deserve much more. The produce is fresh & yummy! The Farmers Market is located right outside my office building. I love it!
