We just went to the Blairstown Farm Market this morning. I just created an Italian bread salad for a picnic, in which I purchased 95% of the ingredients at the market. The produce is beautiful & fresh. And the artisan bread vendor, well let's just say I purchased two loaves & my husband has almost eaten the better part of one already! Thank you for putting this together. We love shopping local & supporting the farms. We will be back & I will be talking this up amongst my friends & family. Thank you.

Fresh, healthy food, good people, sustaining a community and most of all keeping small businesses alive and well.

I think supporting the local farmer especially in New Jersey is very important. If anything it helps our area economy while employing a number of residents who normally would not be able to find work.
Local farmers have a contact with the community and they grow what is needed and wanted in the area. Through some are not organic farms, which I prefer, most of the local farms are not managed in a big corporate big business mass production way.

Our market is geat because first of all, it is in a rural area which helps those not into fresh produce shopping at the area's multitude of stands a chance to see the best in the area. It is also easier for us so we can see all the area farms at once. There is an air of excitement and activities for the children. The Blairstown Farmers' Market is the place to be!
