Not a farmers market anymore. And the three or four vendors that do over fresh vegetables/ fruit / meat / eggs are way way way expensive. Might as well go to Publix for my ripoff.

I just moved to stuart and was looking forward to going to the green market. when I went I found that it was mostly arts and crafts. I only saw two venders that had vegies and they had a very small amount of product. all the other venders were crafts or special items. I agree completely with the last review. this was a big disappointment. It is not for the locals it is for the vacationing people who have a lot of money to spend.

Sadly, this market has turned into a crafts show with very little green market. There are various postings around the web that state bison, jerk, pickles, boiled peanuts, a huge variety of plants, conch are available. We found 75% crafts, one plant vendor, only 2 actual growers (of produce and they are seasonal) , the conch, jerk, pickles and boiled peanut vendors had been gone for years....crafts, crafts and more crafts!!!! At one time there were 5 or 6 plant vendors but now just common plants are available. Many of the vendors are very aggressive as you walk by and that is a huge turn off. We asked where all of the green market vendors had gone to and the response was Tequesta, Palm Beach & Fort Pierce, Why??? Because they are true green markets. There are still a few true green market vendors nestled amongst the crafters...look hard and you may find them!!

In January, when I am vacationing in Florida, the Stuart Green Market is my favorite for buying the freshest, most delicious produce in the area.

For many years I have depended on theStuart Farmer's Market for my lime honey. Often when going there we find other specials - fresh vegetab les, fish and baked items

One of the few places within the community where people always seem to be so happy & content amongst each other.

This market, while still small has wonderful vendors who operate as a family -- helping each other and working together to solve problems. Great selection with several local growers (some organic, hydroponic, and naturally grown) beautiful plants, several crafters (jewelry, handmade handbags, cute garden signs, etc.) and live music. This market really has heart!

It's a great place to visit on sunday mornings after church.
They have wonderful choices of vegies and seafood as well as a good selection of plants.
If you like Boiled Peanuts Stuart Green Market is the place to go.

We go to great lengths to find local farmers and producers in Martin County and the surrounding area. Unfortunately, there are VERY few small family farms left in the entire region, but the ones we do have are of exceptional quality and dedication. All our vendors are rigorously screened for "original" or hand-made production of their goods, including those whose "crafts" are the subject of these poor reviews. Our local growers, bakers, crafters/artisans, chefs and entrepreneurs are proud of the quality and professionalism we have established here in Downtown Stuart.
